Their Stories for God's Glory
Andy's (name changed) story is one of hope, resilience, and transformation. At just 5 years old, he had already faced severe challenges—neglect, poor health, and isolation due to his disability. Locked indoors, without proper care or nutrition, Andy’s early years were marked by pain and uncertainty.
But in December 2020, his life changed when he arrived at MOM's Oaks of Righteousness children's home. Initially shy and mistrustful, Andy’s journey to healing was slow but remarkable. With the love and patience of his House Parents, he opened up, began sharing his story, and found peace and security in belonging.
Although his body faced health struggles, including a kidney stone removal in 2022, Andy’s spirit is strong. Despite setbacks in school and social challenges, his House Parents' love and the support from his new community helped him rebuild his self-esteem.
Today, Andy is a more lively, happy, and social child. His academic performance is improving, and he’s blossoming into the person God created him to be. His story is one of triumph over adversity—God’s glory shining through every step.
