The Chapel of St. John the Divine A vibrant Episcopal community in beautiful Saunderstown, Rhode Island. The Chapel of St. John the Divine is more than a place of worship.

Gathered in 1895, we are an historic Episcopal parish church in the heart of Saunderstown, Rhode Island. While celebrating our rich history, we strive to be a relevant community, welcoming all people and embracing residents and visitors to our small chapel. It is a hub of village social life, with its longstanding traditions of the summer fair (held for nearly 60 years) and ice cream social with t

he Lafayette band (since just after World War II). The Holy Eucharist is celebrated year round on Sundays at 8 and 9:30 am.
