This past Sunday Pastor Sue dug into Numbers 22 — the story of a prophet, a king, and a donkey who saw what the prophet couldn't. It's a story about fear: how it makes us wall ourselves off from people we've decided are threats before we know a thing about them. But it turned into a story about trust — that faith doesn't get the map first. Abraham didn't. Noah didn't. We often don't either. Trust comes first, and the road unfolds as we walk it. The good news is that even if we can't see what's ahead on the road, God is with us always.
