Dear Father in heaven, we thank and praise you for the firm foundation you have provided for our faith – your excellent word. It is the light that guides us in the way you have planned for each one of us. Your word tells us of your great love for us, a love so great that you sent your son Jesus to be our savior and our rock of refuge. Because you are with us always and everywhere, we need not fear or be dismayed by anything that threatens us.

Bestow on all My pard'ning grace

Condemned and guilty shall remain.
