WINTER CAMP BOUND!

We are OVERJOYED to be sending 17 amazing kids from our Mountain Movers Youth Group to Winter Camp this year! What a blessing it is to watch God moving in the hearts of our young people.

As they head out, we are praying boldly that the Lord stirs their hearts, deepens their faith, and speaks clearly through His Word. May this weekend be filled with laughter, new friendships, powerful worship, and life-changing moments with Jesus.

Church family, join us in praying that:
They encounter God in a real and personal way
Their faith grows stronger
Their light shines boldly when they return home

We can’t wait to see how God moves through these 17 lives! Let’s cover them in prayer and celebrate what He is doing!

Living Every Moment for God’s Glory:

“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31

This verse comes from Paul’s teaching on how believers are to live in a world full of choices, freedoms, and influences. When he says “whether you eat or drink,” he is pointing to the most ordinary, everyday actions. What it means is that nothing in our lives is spiritually neutral—every choice, attitude, and action can either honor God or turn our focus inward. Living for God’s glory means placing Him at the center of everything, not just the moments we label as spiritual.

What it means for us today is a shift in how we view our daily lives. Our work, conversations, routines, and even our rest become opportunities to reflect God’s character. We glorify God when we live with gratitude, when we act with integrity even when no one is watching, and when we choose love, humility, and grace in our interactions with others. Faith is not confined to Sundays—it is lived out in the way we handle stress, treat people, and make decisions throughout the week.

God is not asking us to do more; He is inviting us to do what we already do with a heart that honors Him. When our motives align with God’s purposes, the ordinary becomes sacred. A life lived for God’s glory quietly points others to Him and becomes a powerful form of worship.

Reflection:
What is one ordinary part of your day where you can more intentionally live for God’s glory?

Prayer:
Lord, help me to live each day with You at the center. Teach me to honor You in my choices, my words, and my actions. May my life bring glory to Your name in both the small moments and the big ones. Amen.

“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.” Isaiah 60:1

This verse is both a promise and a calling. God is telling His people that darkness does not last forever—His light has already arrived. That light is not something we create on our own; it comes from the Lord. Because His presence is upon us, we are invited to rise with confidence and live differently.

What this means for us today:
We are not meant to stay stuck in fear, shame, or discouragement. God calls us to get up, trust Him, and walk forward in faith. When we allow His light to fill our hearts, it naturally shines through our words, actions, and love for others. Our lives become a reflection of His hope in a world that often feels dark.

The glory of the Lord resting on us means we are empowered by His presence. Wherever we go, we carry His light—into our families, our workplaces, our communities, and our church.

Prayer:
Lord, help me to arise from fear, doubt, or weariness. Fill me with Your light so I may shine for You. Let Your glory be seen in my words, actions, and love for others. Use my life to point people to You. Amen.

Renewed, Not Conformed

Romans 12:2

In a world that constantly tells us who to be, what to value, and how to think, God gently calls us to something different. Romans 12:2 reminds us that we are not meant to blend in with the patterns of this world, but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds.

Transformation doesn’t begin with changing our circumstances—it begins with changing our thinking. As we spend time in God’s Word and invite the Holy Spirit to reshape our thoughts, our hearts begin to align with His truth. Slowly, we start to see differently, choose differently, and live differently.

When our minds are renewed, we gain clarity. God’s will becomes less confusing and more recognizable. And we discover that His plans are always good, pleasing, and perfect, even when they stretch us or call us out of our comfort zones.

How this applies to everyday life:
It challenges us to ask: What is shaping my thinking right now?

It invites us to surrender our old ways of thinking to God.

It assures us that God’s will isn’t something to fear—it’s something to trust.

Reflection:
What voices or habits might be shaping your thinking more than God’s truth?

Prayer:
Lord, renew my mind today. Help me release the ways I’ve conformed to this world and allow Your truth to transform me. Lead me into Your good, pleasing, and perfect will. Amen.

Love That Builds Strong Relationships

1 Corinthians 13:4–7

Every relationship we have—marriage, friendship, family, or church—goes through seasons of joy, strain, misunderstanding, and growth. Paul’s words in 1 Corinthians 13:4–7 remind us that God didn’t design love to be based on emotion alone. He designed it to be active, steady, and rooted in His character.

This passage isn’t a list of impossible expectations; it’s a picture of how God loves us. And when we let His love shape our hearts, we begin to reflect that same love toward others.

Love is patient—so we slow down instead of reacting.
Love is kind—so we choose gentleness over harshness.
Love lets go of envy and pride so relationships don’t become battles of ego.
Love listens, yields, and seeks unity rather than insisting on control.
Love forgives instead of keeping score.
Love stands on truth and protects what is good.
Love stays hopeful, committed, and steady—even through difficulty.

When we love like this, we aren’t depending on our own strength. We’re depending on God’s Spirit to transform us from the inside out. And little by little, this kind of love strengthens our relationships, heals broken places, and creates deeper connection.

Where our love runs out, His love keeps going.
Where we feel weak, His patience becomes our patience.
Where we feel discouraged, His hope becomes our hope.

This is the love that builds relationships that last.

Prayer

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for showing me a love that is patient, kind, and faithful. I ask that You shape my heart so I can reflect that same love in my relationships. Where I am impatient, teach me to slow down and respond with grace. Where I am tempted to be harsh, fill me with Your gentleness. Remove pride, irritation, resentment, or anything that keeps me from loving others well.

Help me forgive quickly, speak truth with kindness, and choose unity over selfishness. Strengthen my relationships and let Your Holy Spirit guide my words, my reactions, and my attitude. May the love described in 1 Corinthians 13 become the love that flows through me each day.

Teach me to love like You love—steadfast, hopeful, and enduring.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

❤️With My Whole Heart

“I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart;
I will recount all of Your wonderful deeds.” – Psalm 9:1

Praise is more than a moment—it’s a lifestyle. When David wrote this psalm, he wasn’t sitting in perfect circumstances. He had battles, enemies, pressures, and unknowns. Yet his first response was wholehearted thanksgiving. Before he asked God for anything, before he faced the next challenge, he stopped to remember what God had already done.

This is the heart of a believer who walks in confidence:
remembering God’s faithfulness fuels courage to step out boldly.

When we choose to praise the Lord, especially in imperfect seasons, something powerful happens. Our hearts realign. Our minds clear. Our faith strengthens. Praise pulls us out of fear and pushes us into purpose.

And part of that purpose is sharing the goodness of God with others.

When David says, “I will recount Your wonderful deeds,” he isn’t just talking to himself—he’s talking to others. He’s declaring God’s faithfulness publicly. Praise naturally overflows into testimony, and testimony naturally leads to sharing the gospel. When you remember what God has done for you, you can’t help but want others to experience it too.

You don’t need a platform or a pulpit.
Your life, your conversations, your kindness, your story—that’s how you spread the word. Every act of love, every prayer for someone hurting, every moment you speak hope instead of fear… it all points back to Jesus.

Praise strengthens you.
Testimony strengthens others.
Together, they build the Kingdom.

🙏 Prayer

Father, I come before You with a grateful heart. Thank You for every blessing, every moment of protection, every answered prayer, and even the battles that shaped me. Help me to praise You with my whole heart—not just in the good moments, but in every season of life.

Remind me daily of Your wonderful deeds so that I never forget how faithful You’ve been. Let my praise be loud, bold, and full of joy. And Lord, open doors for me to share Your Word with others. Give me courage to speak, compassion to listen, and wisdom to know when someone needs to hear about Your love.

Use my life as a living testimony. May my words, actions, and attitude point people to Jesus. Fill me with Your Spirit so I can praise You boldly and spread Your goodness wherever I go. Amen.

🌿 “Given in That Hour”

There are moments in life when our words feel small—when we’re unsure what to say, how to say it, or whether we’re strong enough for the situation in front of us. Jesus knew His followers would feel this way. That’s why He didn’t tell them to become experts in speeches or perfect their arguments. Instead, He gave them something far better: the promise of His presence.

“It will be given to you in that hour…”
This is the heart of Matthew 10:19–20. God doesn’t demand that we carry every answer ahead of time. He invites us to trust that when the moment comes, He will meet us there.

The Holy Spirit speaks through us—not only in persecution or crisis, but in every situation where we represent Jesus. A conversation with a friend. A child who needs comfort. Someone hurting who needs encouragement. A moment when truth must be spoken gently but firmly.

What matters isn’t how prepared or eloquent we feel—it’s who is with us.
And Jesus says plainly:
“It is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.”

So today, walk with confidence, not because you have the perfect words, but because you have a perfect God who supplies them. He fills the space between your weakness and the need in front of you. He guides, strengthens, and speaks through you at just the right time.

Let your heart rest in this truth:
You don’t go into any conversation alone. God goes with you and speaks through you.

🙏 Prayer

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the promise that I never stand alone. When I feel unsure or unprepared, remind me that Your Spirit is with me and will give me the words I need. Calm my heart, steady my thoughts, and speak through me in every conversation and every moment You place before me.

Help me trust You more than my own abilities, and help my words reflect Your love, truth, and wisdom. I surrender my fears, my anxieties, and my need to “get it right,” and I ask that Your presence fill me with courage.

Lord, use me today for Your glory. Let my voice carry Your peace and let my life point to You.
In Jesus’ name, amen.

🌿 Deepening Your Prayer Life

Prayer is one of the most beautiful gifts God has given us — an open invitation to be in His presence. It’s not about perfect words or long speeches, but about a sincere heart that longs to know Him more deeply.

When we come before God in prayer, we enter into relationship — not ritual. He already knows what we need before we speak, yet He delights in hearing our voice, because He delights in us.

“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” — James 4:8

Deepening your prayer life begins with stillness. It’s learning to quiet the noise of the world long enough to feel His peace settle over your soul. In that stillness, prayer becomes less about requests and more about rest — resting in His presence, His promises, and His goodness.

Let Scripture shape your prayers. Open your Bible, read a verse slowly, and let it lead your heart into conversation with God. When you pray His Word, you begin to see life through His truth, and your desires start to align with His will.

Set aside moments in your day just to be with Him. Whether it’s a whispered prayer in the morning light or a quiet reflection before bed, these sacred pauses strengthen the bond between your heart and His.

Listen, too. Prayer isn’t only speaking — it’s listening. Sometimes God speaks through a sense of peace, through His Word, or through gentle reminders of His love.

Keep a prayer journal if it helps you focus. Write what’s on your heart, your praises, your burdens, and then look back later to see how God has been faithful all along.

Finally, remember that deep prayer isn’t always loud or emotional. Sometimes, it’s a simple sigh of surrender — “Lord, I trust You.” In those moments, your spirit grows quiet, and your faith grows strong.

“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10

Today, take time to rest in His presence. Let prayer be less about what you say, and more about who you’re with — your loving Father who listens, cares, and draws near every time you call His name.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
Draw me close to You today. Teach me to quiet my mind and open my heart in Your presence. Help me to listen for Your voice, trust Your timing, and rest in Your love.
Let my prayers be honest and full of faith, and let my soul find peace in simply being with You.
Amen.
