He will teach and train His Children

For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the Lord, to do justice and judgment; that the Lord may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him. ~ Genesis 18:18-19

Central Truth: It is of faith that it might be by grace - Abraham met God on the basis of faith. God Knew Him. God calls him The Father of us all. (in relation to faith) To equip Fathers for victory in life - we too can live as men, fathers to whom God says: I KNOW HIM

I. Faith By Grace
1. Abraham believed God. Romans 4:1-3
- not of works; our own achievement or acts of penance
2. Work is done by God - no WORK required - :5
note: The enemy of our soul will do anything to separate us from God - that is the goal. - not of faith is sin - Romans 14:23
- sin separates us - Isaiah 59:2
Jesus brings us back to God - by means of Faith - it is of faith that it might be by grace - Romans 4:16

Qualities of Faith in Father Abraham
I. A Man of Faith - In Right Standing With God
1. He believes the promise of God's Word - so shall thy seed be - Romans 4:13,16,18-22
2. Speaks beyond natural reason and therefore is a progenitor - of an ongoing growing family of believers - Genesis 18:17-19

II. Man of Vision/Hope
sets himself, drives himself to hope even when there is no hope - Romans 4:18
And if he doesn't have any hope, he'll believe in some hope.
Human reason for hope being gone, hoped in faith AMP
"Against all odds, when it looked hopeless, Abraham believed the promise

III. A Man Who Is And Stays Persuadable
persuadable = open to being convinced, influenced, or swayed.
1. A Father of faith will be convinced through the renewing of the mind and by communing with God, that God's abilities were equal to God's promises and requests. What He promises He can do
What He asks You can do In Him - Philippians 4:13
hard-headed; hard heated, impervious to the pleading of the Holy Spirit.

IV. God Will Know Us No Less

Separation.
How the devil loves to separate--

Jesus came to redeem. forgive and make whole.

That which is broken,
distant and out of joint
can be redeemed to it's original design-use and excellence.

Jesus paid for it at the cross, burial, death and resurrection.

It is of faith that it might be by GRACE
to the end that the promise might be SURE to All The Seed. Rom 4:16
---That is a sure deal!!

God Knew Abraham.
He said: I Know Him.

The Author and Finisher of our faith ~ Hebrews 12:2

As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. ~ John 3:14-17

Central Truth: The Lamp of the body is the eye - If our eyes are pure and unclouded - the whole body is flooded with light, life and glory.
Looking Unto Jesus is the only WAY, the only TRUTH and the only LIFE source from our Heaven-Dwelling Father-God. Look Unto Jesus and Be Ye saved.

To Look = to turn the eyes away from other things and fix them on something. "to fix or gaze upon steadily" to turn one's mind to a certain thing." = Romans 10:9-10

I. Looking Unto Jesus
People can look here, there and everywhere without ever looking unto Jesus - not religion, not people, not any preference - Just Jesus
a) Author and Developer of Faith -
It starts and ends with looking - author/finisher
b) looks into the perfect law of liberty ~ James 1:25 - blessed in what he does
c) The Way Truth and Life ~ John 14:6

II. We Become What We Look At
a) Lamp of the body is the eye - Matthew 6:22
1. The eyes of your spirit allow revelation-light to enter into your being. The mirror
2. The day we learn to use our eyes (spiritually and physically), on purpose, is the day we mature into adulthood and take responsibility for the harvest - for every God-given opportunity. To Look on purpose is to realize there is a purpose for looking.
b) Manhood and Womanhood is to be like Jesus ~ Galatians 5:22-23
We become what we look at: James 1:25
c) Beholding as In a glass (mirror) are transformed ~ 2 Corinthians 3:15-18 (advertising is built on this)

III. The EYES Have It ~ Matthew 6:20-25
a) :22 If your eye be single - unclouded - good, healthy, sound, clear
The whole body will be filled with light
b) Let them not depart from thine eyes ~ Proverbs 4:22
The purity of the Word makes our eyes and heart as pure
Single eye is pure - double vision is clouded - distorted as in double-minded ~ James 1:8
c) The eyes have the capacity to be focused and receptive.
If you focus - the whole body will be flooded with light
d) Apply Our Heart to Understanding ~ Proverbs 2:2
The EYES have the capability to receive what the world needs in every generation = $0.00 - cost - just our time..

Life is so tied to vision,
even the simple vision of our own two eyes.
Vision is usually connected to what you see on the inside of your heart.

That is so true:
Without a vision (inside foresight--a positive view of the future)
the people perish. Prov. 29:18

There is also the very simple way of how we physically view things.
Granted, it is all connected to the heart, but the astonishing truth is:
We can totally change things in our lives:

If we shun the deprived, powerless and malnourishing sights and
If we exchange them for The Truth, The Way and The Life-filled words of the New Covenant in Jesus.
If we will accept that there is LIFE in The Words of Jesus
and in the promises of God---- in the Word of God--The Bible--
We will see Abundant Life taking place in our lives.

Proverbs 4:22 says: They are life unto those that find them and health (healing) to all their flesh.

Jesus said: I am come that you might have life,
and have it more abundantly. John 10:10

LOOKING UNTO JESUS is a fresh look at what it means
to exchange low-level words and thoughts
for higher thoughts, words and ways:
Isaiah 55:
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing where He sent it.

God is sending His Word to us---To Look At---Jesus Is The Word.

When we look at Him--We look at what He says.
When we exchange our lower thoughts and lower ways--
for His Higher thoughts and Higher Ways---
we will start living the abundant life.
Amen!!

It is the greatest news I have ever heard!!

Some may say--
"that sounds too good to be true. It can't be that easy."
It is easy--compared to the world's way.
(Jesus said My yoke is easy." Matt 11:30)

It's easier than having a hard time sleeping.
It's easier than moaning, groaning and complaining.
It's easier than arguing with people over politics--neighbors
and so many things you can't keep track of.
It's easier than getting all worked up over things
we should be praying about instead of losing our peace over.
I am so glad Jesus came to take away the sin and heavy burdens
off our hearts so hat we can run this race with His Endurance.

What makes it difficult?
The majority of people think it's foolish.
Just love them--pray for them
and determine to please God and not people.
That makes it simple.

There is
a Calling,

The enemy of our soul loves to interrupt, distort, misinform and just confuse our day.. 2 Cor. 2:11 says: I don’t want Satan to outwit us. After all, we are not ignorant about Satan’s scheming..

Yes, our adversary would love to pull us into the flesh and battle fights that are not The good fight of faith.

Staying Focused on The Heavenly Vison is paramount to our success in Jesus. As a New Creature In Christ we want to hear: "Well Done" not 'Well, you left a lot undone'.

I truly believe God sent us His Holy Spirit to help us defeat the devil and complete our assignments in notable fashion. It takes staying focused and following jesus in all we think, do and say.

I wonder how our lives would change is Jesus were living on this planet?

He is alive-He is the Vine and we are the branches. John 15:5 His VINE office is in Heaven.

We are the Branch office on the earth. If we would live any different because He has moved down here --then we need to review His love, care and Lordship.

A Day In The Life of The New Creation is a simple look at our daily lives and see how the resurrection and His Lordship plays a part in us being His disciples.

The New Creation is what God did in us to make us His very own people.

We have exceptional capabilities--We are His offspring!

Each one of us has a call, a purpose and a direction that is amazingly blessed by Jesus Himself. As a disciple we are marked as a target by the enemy, but we are also marked by God as His Church that nothing will prevail against.

We will go through The Word and see how much is available for us to:
walk worthy of the Lord, in all pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
Colossians 1:10

This is the will of God for us.

We can do it--together and being discipled by Jesus Himself--along with help from the body of Christ.
