Anu Dani was a fervent devotee of the Hindu god Shiva. Her commitment was so well known that the local Nepali priests gave her open access to the temple as a sort of priestess instead of making her wait in line with others coming to offer sacrifices to the idols. But when Anu’s infant daughter, Monika, became gravely ill, nothing Anu or the other priests did brought healing. Anu and her husband, Prakesh, took Monika to different doctors and hospitals and still could not find relief. As a last resort, Anu took Monika to a church where Christians gladly prayed for them. When they finished, Anu recalled, the sickness had disappeared from Monika’s body. Anu felt certain that the God of this church was the real God and fully gave her life to Christ.

Love is near when we see the mistakes of others as opportunities for redemption. Remember! You who are in Christ, you carry the ministry the Reconciliation. A ministry you can only fully carry when you abide in His love. It is in love and truth that you will remain with a clear and sober minded perspective in the midst of the trial and the storm.

There is a war going on in the midst, the war against your peace. The enemy of our soul wars to take you away from peace. Our anxious thoughts also strive to take you away from peace. Yes a war to take you from that peace that surpasses all understanding that fills the heart of every believer who wages the good fight of faith and remains under the safety and covering of love and truth. This abiding love from the One who is love Himself, the One who is the Author of Love and demonstrated great love is what keeps the weary soul steadfast and faithful in the times of war. Indeed it is in Peace, by staying with the Prince of Peace Our Only Lord and Savior Jesus Christ the Messiah, the One who is Shalom Himself that we will remain planted in His House. It is in peace that we will stay faithful in the midst of chaos and disorder. And it is from peace and love that we will stay praising now and forever more. And why can I have peace you ask? We hear rumors of war, we have prices increasing, we hear of droughts and we hear of threats and so much more? We can have peace because we have God's Faithful Word that will never pass away. We have His Promise that in an unsteady and changing world, He remains steadfast and faithful to us in love. We can have peace because the Spirit of God who is peace Himself dwells inside of us. And we can have peace because seasons are not forever and our Lord Jesus Christ has promised that there will come a day when all this shall pass and we will rule and reign with Him for all eternity. Our Heavenly homes await but while here let us remain faithfully planted in His Word, in His love, in His peace. For in peace and love there is power!

The Lord will redeem you from things known to you and unknown to you. Because His love is fully present and aware, He sees what you do not see and in seeing He is redeeming you fully. Trust in His loving hands that not only shield you but also protect you.

Now is not the time to judge, criticize or murmur against the leaders that God permitted to sit in the white house in this season. But As a Bride of Christ we are called to pray without ceasing. Know that All these things, according to Ezekiel 38 will come to pass. Be at peace and pray.
