22nd Anniversary Memorial Dharma Assembly for His Holiness Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche, the Precious Root Guru, Embodiment of All Buddhas of the Three Times
❤️ Across USA, Canada, Asia, and other regions, the three-day “22nd Anniversary Commemoration of the Parinirvana of H. H. Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche” was completed in perfect harmony.This was also the first puja in 2026 in which Guru and disciples gathered before the mandala to make aspirations and engage in practice together.
🛎️ After the puja, Venerable Drimed Rinpoche offered a brief teaching to the disciples, emphasizing faith in the Guru and the importance of making aspirations in 2026:
We have now completed these three days of puja. This is extremely auspicious, and it is all due to the blessings of H. H. Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche.
When we were at the academy, H. H. Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche taught every morning from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Before each teaching, he would personally offer 100 RMB and request the sangha to recite “The Great Cloud of Blessings” to bless his disciples, his disciples’ disciples, and all future disciples who would form a connection with him. He did this every day for many years. Therefore, all of you are disciples who have already been blessed and embraced by H. H. Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche.
At that time, H. H. Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche made the aspiration: “May my disciples, and the disciples of my disciples, and the disciples of their disciples… be able to benefit sentient beings and propagate the Buddhadharma in the future.” He has already made such aspirations. As long as we do our part well, the blessings will definitely be there—without any doubt—and we will certainly receive the blessings of H. H. Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche.
I left Tibet in 2001, and it has now been 25 years… (Rinpoche, while recalling H. H. Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche, could not help but shed tears…) As time goes on, I feel more and more deeply that being able to become a disciple of H. H. Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche is an immense blessing. At every moment, and especially at every important moment, I can feel his blessings. Likewise, each and every one of you is also extremely fortunate to be a direct or indirect disciple of H. H. Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche.
When we were at the academy, our faith in H. H. Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche was very strong—we all regarded him as a Buddha. From initially cultivating this belief continuously, I reached a point around 2012–2013 where an uncontrived, spontaneous faith arose within me that H. H. Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche is truly a Buddha. If you can give rise to faith in H. H. Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche and pray with single-pointed focus, you will certainly receive his blessings, be freed from the six realms of samsara, and attain liberation.
If we wish to attain liberation and Buddhahood, we must have faith in the Guru. Without faith, the path to liberation is blocked. If we have faith in H. H. Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche, the path to liberation is open and unobstructed. The purpose of studying the Buddhadharma—of listening, contemplating, and practicing—is solely for liberation, not for any worldly concerns or the eight worldly dharmas. For the sake of liberation, we must practice accordingly.
At the Dharma center of the American Sangha, there is a wax statue of H. H. Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche (see photo). This is not something that can be obtained casually—it is also a manifestation of his blessings. Due to many extraordinary causes and conditions, H. H. Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche manifested here to bless us. Because of this, today we have the great fortune to practice Guru Yoga, make prostrations, engage in pujas, and make offerings before his statue. This is an immense blessing for us.
Today marks the first puja in 2026 in which Guru and disciples together made aspirations and practiced before the mandala. All the practitioners who participated are extremely fortunate. I would like to thank all the disciples who generated the aspiration to support the Dharma Hall for this puja. You invested a great deal of time and effort—thank you for your hard work. This kind of effort is deeply meaningful. It is not like the worldly busyness of working day and night merely to earn money; rather, it accumulates vast merit and spiritual resources. I rejoice in all of you. At the same time, I would also like to express my gratitude to Dharma friends around the world who have made offerings online to support the center’s Dharma activities, life-release practices, retreat centers, and more. I do not often have the opportunity to meet everyone in person, so I would like to take this moment to thank you all.
In the New Year greeting card I wrote for everyone this year, there was a section on generating aspiration. I hope that we can all generate aspirations together, as the merit from doing so is very great.
New Year Aspirations
1. May we, in all lifetimes, never harm any sentient being—not even a single strand of hair.
2. May everything we do with body, speech, and mind in all lifetimes relieve sentient beings of both temporary and ultimate suffering, and lead them to ultimate peace and happiness.

❤️今天美加亞洲等地同步圓滿了三天的「如意寶晉美彭措法王涅槃22周年紀念法會」，也是2026年上師與弟子在壇城前共同發願修法的第一壇。
🛎️上師在法會後對弟子們「要對上師生信心，2026年記得發願」做了簡短的開示：
我們今天圓滿了三天的法會，非常的殊勝，這都是法王如意寶的加持。
我們在學院的時候，法王如意寶每天早上10-12點會講課，講課前，法王如意寶自己會捐出100人民幣，請僧眾念《大自在祈禱文》來加持他的弟子以及間接的弟子，還有未來與法王如意寶結緣的所有弟子。如此每天修了很多年，所以你們也是被法王如意寶加持過、攝受的弟子。
法王如意寶當時曾說：「願我的弟子以及弟子的弟子，弟子的弟子…將來能夠利益眾生，弘揚佛法。」法王如意寶已經發過這樣的願了！我們只要做好自己該做的部分，加持是一定有的，而且毫無疑問的，我們一定可以得到法王如意寶的加持。
我從2001年從藏地出來到現在已經25年…（上師憶念起法王，禁不住地落淚…），隨著時間越長，我越來越覺得能成為法王的弟子是一個很大的福氣，在每時每刻、每個重要時刻我都能感受到法王如意寶的加持。同樣的，我們每一個人也都是很有福報的，成為法王如意寶直接或間接的弟子。
我們在學院時對法王如意寶的信心是很強的，都認為他是佛。我自己從起初不斷地認為法王如意寶是佛，到2012-13年時強烈感受到到能無造作地生起對法王如意寶是佛的信心。大家如果能對法王如意寶生起信心，一意專注祈禱的話，一定能得法王如意寶的加持，脫離六道輪迴，得到解脫。
我們如果想解脫成佛就要對上師有信心，如果沒有信心，解脫的路就堵住了，若能對法王如意寶生信心，我們解脫的路是暢通的。大家來學習佛法、聞思修，目的就是求解脫！沒有世間八法各式各樣的目的，為了得解脫我們要這樣隨學而做。
美國學會的道場裡有法王如意寶的蠟像（見照片），這不是隨隨便便可以請來就有的，這也是法王如意寶的加持，因為很多殊勝的因緣和緣起，法王如意寶為了加持我們而降臨這裡的。所以我們今天才有這樣的機會能在法王如意寶的蠟像面前修上師瑜伽、作禮拜、修法、供養等等，這是我們很大的福報！
今天是2026年上師與弟子在壇城前共同發願修法的第一壇，參與的道友非常殊勝。我要謝謝為 法會道場而發心的所有弟子，你們花了很多時間與心力，辛苦了。這種辛苦是很有意義的，不像平時世間法日夜辛苦忙碌只為了賺點錢，而是積累了很大的資糧功德，隨喜大家。同時也要感恩全球道友在網路對中心弘法事業、放生、閉關中心等等的供養，我平時碰不到大家，所以在此感謝你們。
