Today our CCA community came together to celebrate the rich history of our nation and God’s faithfulness as we commemorated America’s 250th anniversary. 🇺🇸

From the sacrifices of those who came before us, to the opportunities we enjoy today, we are grateful for God’s faithfulness throughout every generation. It was a joy to see our students showcase their hard work, creativity, and understanding of the people and events that have shaped our country.

This Sunday we were reminded to take heed.

In Deuteronomy 4, Moses called Israel to remember God’s faithfulness and warned them to not drift into the very things that would enslave them. The same is true for us today. Sin promises freedom, but always leads to bo***ge. Jesus offers something far greater. True freedom, forgiveness, and life.

No matter what has a hold on you, God is able to rescue, restore, and lead you into freedom. The question is… will you turn to Him?

This Sunday we were challenged to not settle short of the victorious Christian life that God has for us.

In Numbers 32, the tribes of Reuben and Gad saw comfort before promise, and it’s easy for us to do the same. Sometimes settling looks safe and convenient, but God has more for us in the land of blessing.

Our prayer is that we would be people who trust God enough to move forward in faith, instead of settling where it’s easy.

Ken Ham will clearly demonstrate how the Bible has solid answers to scientific questions at the Answers in Genesis conference held at Calvary Chapel San Jose on April 19th and 20th. This conference will equip, inspire, and reaffirm your faith in the truth of God’s Word. Ken Ham will also have special sessions on Monday for all students (public, private, homeschool), teachers, and all who desire to equip themselves and the next generation. Please be in prayer about who the Lord would have you invite to join us for our Easter services. Easter is a powerful time when many are open to hearing the truth of the Gospel, making it a meaningful opportunity to reach those around you. Invite your family, friends, and neighbors to hear the Good News of what Christ has done for us and the hope we have through His resurrection.

We will gather to remember and reflect on the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus at the cross.
