Sometimes our need for certainty in a relationship is really a need for security.

We want reassurance that we’ll be chosen.
That we’ll be loved.
That things will work out.

But no relationship was meant to carry the weight of our identity.

The more secure we become in Christ, the less we need the future to make us feel safe.

That’s where true freedom begins.

This summer I’m partnering with Mission Single - Kelly Werner to lead a 6-week faith and life discussion group for single women, and we’re going through Single Ever After by Danielle Treweek.

One question that often comes up in conversations like this is:

“Do I have the gift of singleness?”

But what if that question has been shaped by a misunderstanding in the Christian community. The author does a good job reframing how we think about singleness theologically.

What if the gift of singleness isn’t a special ability to feel content all the time or an additional spiritual booster shot to have self-control…

but simply the gift of the season you are in right now?

Not because it’s always easy.
Not because you always feel strong in it.
But because God is present and purposeful in it.

You can desire marriage and still receive your singleness as a gift.

You can grieve what isn’t and still trust that God has not forgotten you.

The goodness of your singleness isn’t defined by your feelings about it—but by the God who gives good gifts.

I tried to highlight the sections of the chapter I thought were helpful. If you’re in a season of singleness, what part of this stood out to you?

You’re not stuck because you lack options.
You’re stuck because you’re trying to make a decision without clarity on who you are.

Career confusion often isn’t just about what to do next… It’s about where your identity has been anchored.

Maybe you’ve been asking:
“Should I stay or leave?”
“Is this the right path?”
“Am I wasting my potential?”

But a deeper question is:
👉 Am I making this decision from alignment… or pressure?

When your identity is tied to performance, expectations, or timelines, every decision feels heavy.

But when you’re rooted in Christ, discernment becomes clearer, steadier, and more grounded.

This is exactly why I created the Identity & Purpose Audit — to help you uncover what’s actually driving your decisions, where you may be misaligned, and how to move forward with clarity and confidence.

This isn’t about rushing into your next move.
It’s about becoming rooted first — so your next step is aligned, not reactive.

✨ If you’ve been feeling uncertain in your career, this is your starting point.

💌 DM me “EARLY” for early access to the Identity & Purpose Audit.

You don’t need more career advice.
You need deeper formation.

Most women I talk to aren’t confused because they lack options.

They’re overwhelmed because every option feels tied to identity.

If this works, I matter.
If this fails, what does that say about me?

Career uncertainty doesn’t just test strategy. It tests our security.

And clarity won’t fix insecurity.
Promotion won’t heal striving.
A pivot won’t resolve self-reliance.

That kind of work requires intentional formation.

In my coaching, we don’t just map decisions. We uncover what’s driving them. We dismantle fear-based ambition. We rebuild from trust, wisdom, and maturity.

Because success without internal stability is fragile. This is deep work. And it changes everything.

Clarity felt safe because it gave me control.

It reduced uncertainty.
It minimized risk.
It protected my reputation.

But it also quietly replaced trust.

What God has been teaching me is this:

The safest place I can be isn’t in a perfect plan. It’s in His presence.

Safety isn’t certainty about the future.
It’s confidence in His character.

When I know I’m loved, led, and held by Him,
I don’t need every detail to move forward.

Clarity feels like protection.
But intimacy with God is actual security.

And learning the difference changes how you lead, decide, rest, and obey.

If this is the tension you’re in right now, you’re not alone.

👉This is the kind of work we unpack in coaching — learning to anchor in God’s character instead of managing outcomes. DM to learn more.

Knowing God’s love doesn’t automatically translate to trust, peace or clarity.

Many women have learned the truth… but haven’t yet learned how to live from it.

Coaching helps you embody it, make it practical, and move in daily life — so your confidence rests in God, not your performance.

If you’re tired of feeling behind, overworking, or questioning your worth — there’s a way to step into freedom that lasts, anchored in God’s love, not your output.

💬 Reflection: Where are you still trying to prove yourself instead of trusting God’s love?

💌 Hundreds of women are exploring this together each week — link in bio to start moving from knowledge → confidence in Him.

Some of us aren’t chasing clarity because we’re discerning.

We’re chasing it because uncertainty feels unsafe.

Clarity promises protection — from regret, from disapproval, from making the “wrong” move.

So when God withholds the details, it can feel less like guidance and more like exposure.

But trust isn’t built by having fewer questions.

It’s built by learning where safety actually lives (which is in God) when answers don’t arrive.

This is why faith often feels emotionally harder before it feels spiritually lighter. Your nervous system has to learn a new anchor.

➡️ What do you believe clarity is protecting you from?

💬 If this resonates, this is the work I walk women through — learning to move from love, not certainty. DM to learn more.

Somewhere along the way, many of us learned this quiet rule:

When I show up well, I’m worthy.
When I don’t, I need to try harder.

So we perform.
We stay productive.
We keep proving.

Because we’re afraid of what slowing down might reveal.

The hard truth?
You can believe grace theologically
and still live like your worth resets every morning.

But identity in Christ was never something to earn.

It is something to receive.

And when worth is received,
rest no longer feels like something you have to justify—it feels like trust.
