As we gather with loved ones and celebrate, let us make heartfelt dua for our brothers and sisters across the Ummah who are enduring immense suffering and oppression, from Palestine to Sudan, and in every corner of the world where injustice persists.

May Allah grant them relief, strength, and victory. Ameen.

The Prophet ﷺ said: "There is no day on which Allah frees more people from the Fire than the Day of Arafah." (Muslim)

So let's seek forgiveness without hesitation. Let's ask without limit. Let's renew with conviction.

Qariah: Farah Amchichou

"Neither their meat nor blood reaches Allah. Rather, it is your piety that reaches Him. This is how He has subjected them to you so that you may proclaim the greatness of Allah for what He has guided you to, and give good news to the good-doers. "
(Al-Hajj 22:37)

Let's ask ourselves what we are willing to sacrifice. Allah sees our hearts, not just your offering.

"and provide for them from sources they could never imagine. And whoever puts their trust in Allah, then He ˹alone˺ is sufficient for them. Certainly Allah achieves His Will. Allah has already set a destiny for everything. "

Let's remind each other that our rizq is not tied to our anxiety. It is tied to our trust in Allah.

Rather, seek the ˹reward˺ of the Hereafter by means of what Allah has granted you, without forgetting your share of this world. And be good ˹to others˺ as Allah has been good to you. Do not seek to spread corruption in the land, for Allah certainly does not like the corruptors.”
(Al-Qasas 28:77)

Let's not abandon our dunya while building our akhirah. Both are gifts from Allah to us.

Qariah: Somaya Ait Iguize

"There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days." (Bukhari)

How beloved? So beloved that Allah Himself swears by them in the Qur'an:

"By the dawn, and by the ten nights..." (Al-Fajr 89:1-2)

Ten days. But they carry more weight than months.

This Dhul Hijjah, let these reminders pull you back to Him, to your best self, to the version of you that these ten days were made for.

Let every single day count inshAllah.
