⛪ From the Diocese: Mandarin Language Class 中文普通話課程 ⛪
Saturdays in August | 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. | Two in-person sessions at
True Sunshine, SF (1430 Mason St.), and two online sessions

Begin learning to speak Mandarin in a welcoming, supportive community while also contributing to the restoration of Our Saviour in Oakland, which sustained significant damage in an arson fire in 2023.

Enrollment is open May 5 through July 15. The class is limited to 12–15 students and is open to adults ages 18 and older. The cost is $20 per class or $80 for the month. Come join your diocesan family at the annual Juneteenth celebration service! Be inspired by Holy Scripture, Sacred Song, and empowered preaching at this annual event, celebrating Emancipation of the Enslaved at the end of the Civil War in June 1865. Canon to the Ordinary Rev. 📖 Summer Adult Formation: The Separation of Church and Hate 📖

Join us in the parlor on Sunday mornings at 9 this summer to discuss current events from a biblical lens through the book "Separation of Church and Hate" by John Fugelsang. Each week will focus on a different chapter, and each chapter is its own unit, so join us when you are available! A copy of the book is available in the church library as well as through Kindle, the public library and bookstores.

Godly Play is on hiatus and we would love to offer our youngsters some fun activities over the Summer months … but it can’t happen if we don’t have volunteers! It’s fun and EASY. You can be as creative or low-key as you’d like – read a story, do a craft, blow bubbles, do chalk art, or just hang out! Volunteers will work in pairs, one of whom needs to have completed Safe Church training in the last three years. Youth are also welcome to volunteer. Want to help but don’t know what to do? We have lots of ideas to share. Contact Tassie or Rev. Marisa with questions.
