WHAT A DAY! ☀️🎉🥳

Labor Day Bash was such a fun reminder that church is so much more than what happens during a Sunday service. It’s sharing a meal, laughing together, meeting someone new, watching our kids play, and simply doing life in community! 🤍

When we’re exhausted, we may need rest. But when we’re burnt out, what we really need is the presence of God.

Last Sunday, Laura Seifert | Speaker reminded us that God doesn’t just meet us in our strength. He meets us when we’re depleted, discouraged, and running on empty.

If you’ve been feeling burnt out lately, maybe the answer isn’t doing more. Maybe it’s making space to be with Him. 🤍

His presence restores what burnout has drained.

Elijah had witnessed God do incredible things, yet in 1 Kings 19, we find him exhausted, discouraged, and ready to give up.

And look at how God meets him:

For exhaustion, He provides rest.
For burnout, He provides restoration.

Laura Seifert | Speaker reminded us this morning that, God gives Elijah space to sleep and eat. He meets him in the quiet. He reminds him of His presence. And then, when Elijah is ready, He gives him a way forward.

Maybe the answer isn’t always pushing through. Sometimes we need to receive the rest, presence, and restoration God is already offering us.

“And after the fire there was a voice, a soft whisper.” - 1 Kings 19:12
