Yesterday was my last day at CHG. Leaving was bittersweet. I liked what I did there, but the Lord was calling me to fully walk out the mission of KGC and advance the Designed For Purpose Program.

Today, the C.H.R.I.S.T Coalition held its first Pastoral Brunch at San Antonio for Christ, and it was truly a special gathering.

This wasn’t just a brunch it was a collaboration of pastors, church leaders, community leaders, and state partners united by one common goal: to make a meaningful impact in our community.

As we reflect on today’s wins, we are truly grateful and deeply honored by the involvement of so many extraordinary people who continue to pour into our city and believe in the power of unity.

Today was a beautiful reminder that when leaders come together with purpose, faith, and a heart to serve, we can create lasting change.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, shared their vision, and helped make this first Pastoral Brunch one to remember. ❤️

Strategic partnerships don’t just create conversations… they create capacity, infrastructure, and impact.

Last week, C.H.R.I.S.T. Coalition Executive Director Richard Garza and Chief Operating Officer Vanessa Munoz had the opportunity to meet with Dr. Martinez and Dr. Spikes of Hallmark University as the Coalition continues building the infrastructure needed for its next phase of growth and impact.

A special thank you to Anthony Vargas for intentionally bringing the right people to the table and coordinating such a powerful and necessary meeting. This is what collaboration looks like, recognizing the need, making the connection, and creating opportunities for collective impact.

Through C.H.R.I.S.T. Coalition’s collaboration with Hallmark University’s ACG Capstone Program, student consulting teams will support key areas of organizational development, including:

• Organizational infrastructure and strategic planning
• CRM and referral systems
• Website development and resource navigation
• Data collection and impact measurement
• Funding and grant readiness
• Systems and processes designed for sustainable growth

This is bigger than building an organization.

C.H.R.I.S.T. Coalition is building the infrastructure that allows churches, community partners, education, government, and businesses to work together more effectively on behalf of children and families.

Thank you to Dr. Martinez, Dr. Spikes, Hallmark University, and Anthony Vargas for seeing the vision, bringing expertise to the table, and helping move the mission forward.

Celebrating National Latina Day in San Antonio! 🇲🇽🇺🇸✨

The C.H.R.I.S.T. Coalition is honored to join fellow community and faith-based partners in celebrating National Latina Day here in San Antonio!

Today is an opportunity to celebrate the strength, culture, leadership, faith, and contributions of Latinas who continue to make an impact in our families, churches, businesses, and communities.

We are especially honored to have Perla Nunez bringing the Spanish Invocation and Vanessa Munoz leading the Invocation as we come together in unity and gratitude.

What a beautiful picture of faith, culture, community, and collaboration—organizations and leaders coming together to serve, connect, and make a difference in San Antonio.

The C.H.R.I.S.T. Coalition is proud to stand alongside our community partners as we celebrate the women, families, and leaders who help make our city stronger.
