Today we had the privilege of welcoming Dr. Christopher King to Valley Hi First Baptist Church. We are grateful for the time he spent with our church family sharing his personal testimony, his journey, and the message behind his book, Call Me Mom.

Dr. King challenged us to stand firmly in truth while demonstrating the love, grace, and compassion of Christ. His testimony served as a powerful reminder that God’s design for the family matters and that biblical truth remains relevant in every generation.

Thank you, Dr. King, for your willingness to share your story, answer questions, and encourage our congregation. We appreciate your ministry and pray that God continues to bless your work, your family, and the impact of your book on people across our nation.

We are also thankful for everyone who joined us today. It was encouraging to see our community come together to engage in an important conversation through the lens of Scripture.

💧 INFORMED COMMUNITIES MAKE STRONGER COMMUNITIES! 💧

Tonight, Valley Hi First Baptist Church was honored to host representatives from San Antonio Water System (SAWS) as they shared information regarding the Proposed FY 2026–2029 Rate Plan.

The meeting was informative, respectful, and provided our community with an opportunity to learn more about how future water and wastewater rates may impact residents, businesses, and families throughout San Antonio.

We are grateful to SAWS for taking the time to engage directly with our community and answer questions. We believe that providing opportunities for education, awareness, and community dialogue is an important part of serving our neighbors.

Thank you to everyone who attended and took part in the discussion. Together, we can stay informed and engaged in the decisions that affect our city.

Esta noche, Valley Hi First Baptist Church tuvo el honor de recibir a representantes de San Antonio Water System (SAWS), quienes compartieron información sobre la Propuesta del Plan de Tarifas para los años fiscales 2026–2029.

La reunión fue muy informativa y brindó a nuestra comunidad la oportunidad de conocer más sobre cómo las futuras tarifas de agua y alcantarillado podrían afectar a los residentes, negocios y familias de San Antonio.
