This Memorial Day, we pause with grateful hearts to remember the brave men and women who gave their lives for our freedom. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten, and their courage continues to inspire us every day.

We honor their legacy, we thank their families, and we thank God for the freedoms we are blessed to enjoy because of their service. May we never take that sacrifice for granted. 🇺🇸

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms and mother figures in our lives! 💐

Today we celebrate the women who love us, pray for us, encourage us, support us, and continually point us toward Christ. Thank you for the countless ways you care for your families, friends, and church community every single day.

Your faith, strength, kindness, and love make such a difference, and we are so thankful for the example you set. Whether through a comforting word, a prayer, a hug, or simply always being there.

We pray you feel appreciated, loved, and celebrated today. ❤️

Romans 4:1–8 shows that Abraham was counted righteous because of his faith, not his works, revealing that our standing before God comes solely from trusting Him rather than anything we accomplish.

Good Friday reminds us of the greatest act of love the world has ever known. It’s the day Jesus willingly went to the cross, taking our place, carrying our sin, and making a way for us to have new life. What looked like defeat became the foundation of our hop, because we know the story doesn’t end there.

Because of the cross, we have forgiveness. Because of His sacrifice, we have freedom. Because of His love, we have a Savior.

Join us this Sunday @ 10am as we celebrate the victory of the resurrection and the hope we have in Jesus!
Easter changes everything, and we’d love for you and your family to experience it with us. 🙌✨

What a sobering and powerful word we received this Sunday from our children's director Nicole Fuentes. 🙏

Through the story of Achan and the defeat of Ai, we were reminded of this truth: God’s ways are better than our ways. We must trust and obey.

✨ Here’s what we learned:
God’s commands are for His glory.
God is right to judge disobedience.
Disobedience is destructive.
God’s commands are for our good.
Obedience leads to victory.

Even in this difficult passage, we see that God is just, holy, and deeply concerned with the hearts of His people. He calls us to trust Him fully and to walk in obedience, knowing His plans are always better.

Let’s examine our hearts this week and choose obedience, trusting that God’s way leads to life, peace, and victory. 🙌

Sunday morning we heard from Chris Carter, missionary to Japan. He came with a strong and encouraging message for the church. I hope you will take some time to listen to it on the ct|church Sermon Podcast if you weren't able to be in service on Sunday.

God is always writing a salvation story—but He invites us to be part of it.
In Exodus 2, God begins setting the stage to rescue Israel. But the story moves forward because people were willing to participate. Moses’ mother risked everything. She let go of what she loved most and trusted God with the outcome.
Salvation stories always require participation.
Three actions we see in those who step into God’s plan:
• Take a risk
• Let something go
• Trust God
Sometimes the step God asks us to take feels scary. What looks like a risk to us is part of His plan. Fear often tries to keep us on the sidelines, but God can even use the very thing that frightens us as a tool for salvation.
Are we willing to take the step, let go, and trust God with the outcome?

If this message challenged or encouraged you, don’t stop there.
Join us tonight at 7 PM for Life Groups as we dig deeper into this sermon, talk through it together. We’d love to see you there!

⏰ Public Service Announcement: Daylight Saving Time

This weekend we spring forward one hour! That means we lose an hour of sleep… but gain an extra hour of daylight. ☀️

Most of our phones and devices will change automatically, it still manages to surprise a few of us every year. 😅

Here’s your game plan:
🛏 Go to bed an hour earlier
⏰ Double-check those alarms
⛪ Show up to church on time (not halfway through the sermon!)

Don’t let Daylight Saving Time sneak up on you. We’re excited to see everyone Sunday morning - awake, caffeinated, and ready for church!

Sunday, we had the privilege of welcoming Mark Cox from Convoy of Hope, who brought a powerful and timely message titled Disruptive Compassion.
He challenged us to truly love the people Convoy serves. Not just the neighbors we’re comfortable with, but those whose needs may interrupt our routines and stretch our hearts.
“It’s always easier to ignore the people in front of us, but Jesus did the opposite.”
His message reminded us that real compassion isn’t convenient. It disrupts.

Disruptive Compassion will:
• Change your plans
• Move you to action
• Cost you something

We pray this message continues to stir your heart.
If you weren’t able to join us, you can watch Disruptive Compassion under “Sermons” on our church app.
And don’t forget — join us tonight for Life Groups as we continue digging into Scripture together.
