Our world is trying to do away with waiting. We want faster internet, instant downloads, and same day delivery. We have become addicted to “now.” But the Kingdom of God does not operate on the world’s clock. Our God is not governed by our deadlines. Today, we are diving into a subject that our flesh hates but our spirit desperately needs - Patience.

Our world has become a landscape fractured by anxiety. Our lives have become filled with constant noise. We’re looking for quiet. We look for it in a variety of avenues. But the moment the wind of this world picks up again, the calm vanishes. But the peace of God is not fragile. Today, we are going to dive into the mystery and the majesty of God’s peace.

The Bible commands “Rejoice in the Lord always” — but Paul also calls joy a fruit of the Spirit. So is joy something I do, or something the Spirit grows in me? This Sunday we trace biblical joy from Deuteronomy to John and find a single answer: joy is relational. It arises from, addresses, and is sustained by relationship with God. Stay where joy grows.

The Fruit of the Spirit develops through daily choices, obedience, and surrender to God.
It is a choice.

Welcome! Today, we will begin our study of The Fruit of the Spirit. Many Christians have treated The Fruit of the Spirit as a performance checklist, assuming God’s approval rises and falls with how well they display these virtues. But in Galatians 5, Paul isn’t giving us traits to achieve. He’s giving us a portrait of what God has already done and is doing in us by His Holy Spirit. These qualities are not the result of our effort but the natural fruit produced by the Holy Spirit living in us. Thank you for joining us.

But they were about to discover the cross wasn’t the end, because they were about to encounter the Risen Christ.
