Wreaths Across America - San Antonio National Cemetery We honor our fallen at San Antonio National Cemetery. We are not Fort Sam, but choose TXSANS and we will deliver your wreath to Fort Sam and place it with care.

Remember. Honor. Teach. We are Wreaths Across America for the San Antonio National Cemetery, a 4-acre historic site honoring our nation’s heroes. Our mission is to place a wreath on every one of the 3,000+ veterans’ graves, remembering their service and sacrifice. Key Details:

Our annual wreath-laying ceremony embodies our commitment to Remember, Honor, and Teach about the brave men and women who served our country. Every wreath is a gift of appreciation and a way to ensure our fallen heroes are never forgotten.

***This page is for the San Antonio National Cemetery (Oldest National Cemetery in Texas), NOT the Fort Sam National Cemetery***

Every year we hold our San Antonio National cemetery ceremony and wreath placement on the official WAA Saturday.
We then hold hundreds of “Grave Specific” wreaths overnight, gather on Sunday at 2pm at the Ft Sam National Cemetery Amphitheater, and distribute so volunteers can place those wreaths.
We need some assistance, if anyone has a trailer that can hold wreaths and transport them to Ft Sam, please reach out to us.
We have around 500 grave specific wreaths that we we will be placing on Sunday. If you’d like to volunteer and assist, please meet us on Sunday afternoon.
All assistance is greatly appreciated!

9am: Truck delivery convoy arrives to cemetery to unload truck

10am: U.S. Air Force Band performance

11am: Wreaths Across America ceremony begins
