⛪ SUNDAY MORNING UPDATE FOR CITY SOUTH — WE WILL GATHER AT 9:00 AM

Church family,

CPS has not yet been able to restore electricity to the church. Because of this, tomorrow will look a little different—but we are still going to gather!

We will have one short worship service at 9:00 AM for everyone who would like to join us. We are meeting early so we can worship together before the building gets too warm.

Because we are still without electricity:

• There will be no Sunday School
• There will be no nursery care or Children’s Church
• Children ages 5–11 may play on the playground, and we will have staff and volunteers there to watch and care for them during the service
• We will gather together in the sanctuary for a short service

Hebrews 10:25 reminds us not to give up meeting together. The Church has never been defined by electricity, air conditioning, programs, or even a building. We are the Church—and tomorrow morning, we will stand strong together, encourage one another, worship the Lord, and hear from His Word.

If you are unable to attend in person, I am going to try to stream the service on the Crossroads page so you can join us from home.

Of course, we understand if the circumstances prevent you from attending. But for those who can join us, come as you are, dress comfortably, and let’s worship Jesus together.

CHURCH UPDATE — POWER OUTAGE @ CITY SOUTH CAMPUS

The electricity is still out at the church, and we are continuing to monitor the situation.

If power is not restored, we will still have a short 9:00 AM service tomorrow morning. Because our sanctuary has no windows, the temperature inside has remained fairly comfortable. I have been at the church since 8:00 this morning and just left, and it was still manageable.

If we meet without power, the service will be approximately 30 minutes and will not be livestreamed.

I will send another message this evening with a final update and let everyone know exactly what we will be doing tomorrow morning.

Thank you for your patience and flexibility. No matter what, we are still the church—with or without electricity!
