We had a jam packed Sunday!

First, we want to say “CONGRATS” to our newest Foundation Builders Bible Study graduates! They remained faithful and completed our 10 week beginner Bible studies! We look forward to seeing the amazing work God does not only in you, but THROUGH you!

Second, we were able to bless parents and their children with free backpacks before school begins! Thank you to Misfits Barbershop and the owner Juan Martinez for free haircuts and thank you to the manager of WSS shoes for supporting us with coupons and discounts! 🎒 👟💈⛪️

True Children of God:

1. Are Peacemakers: Matthew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of
God.

2. Have Love for Others: Luke 6:35 But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting
nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High; for
He Himself is kind to ungrateful and evil men

3. Are Led by the Holy Spirit: Romans 8: 14 For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these
are sons of God.

4. Practices Righteousness: 1 John 3:10 By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother.

5. Have a spirit of Adoption: Romans 8:15 For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption. And by him we cry, "Abba, Father.”
