Thought today
Someone said Is it alright to have some things in this world and my response is yes, but don't let them things have you. Life does not consist in the things man possesses, set your affection on things above. For where your tresure is there is your heart is also. He did give us richly all things to enjoy. He's good to us but things pass away and mean nothing beside a grave, but knowing Jesus and seeking those things above is where life is. Love not the world neither the things in the world. But to love God, and as the wise man Solomon who had riches untold said Fear God and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. He said the rest was vanity or meaningless and empty. Only the Lord Jesus satisfies the soul.

Hebrews 4v14
For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as are, yet without sin. The word infirmities mean without strength, freshly weaknesses, and frailties. He knows our inabilities and weaknesses. The Lord Jesus as a man was tempted in all points as we are, he went through it all and never sinned. He has experienced every test or temptation and walked away in victory. We as believers can go to him for his help in whatever we face or what we are going through. We have access to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. There is complete victory in Christ over the flesh, the world and the devil. He's a very present help. Why not go to him who is the Victor over what we are going through and find grace. Whether it's loneliness, lustful battles, discouragement, stress or warfare from this world. He's there and able to succor us in all things. What a great high priest that intercedes on our behalf. He is our mediator of the New Testament. Praise God!
