Sunday School at 8:45 for all ages.

The kids are back in college and that means time to sign up for our College Outreach Ministry. We like to keep in touch with our college students and send them a care package and cards throughout the year. We need their name, address, birthday, and special dates. Forms are available in the office. If you would like to reach out to a college student, contact Marsha Kelly.

Rooted begins today. This is a church-wide 10-week small group experience that helps your church build an Acts 2 discipleship culture­—connecting people with God, the church, and their purpose. If you have wanted to develop deeper relationships with your church family, a deeper relationship with God, or need help determining your purpose in the church, Rooted is for you. If you have questions, reach out to any of the leaders.

Wednesday night Bible Studies begin this week. Dawn Bopp and her crew leads activities for children ages 3 thru 5th grade. Gwen Ryan will lead a group of high school girls. Mike Ryan will lead the jr. high/high school boys. Lori Ryan will lead the ladies group and Shannon Bopp will lead the adult class. Join us at 5:30 for a light meal and stick around for the Bible Studies at 6. There’s something for everyone!

Discover Evergreen is a free lunch after church TODAY. It is for anyone who would like to know more about Evergreen, learn more about baptism, or placing your membership. Meet some of the staff and elders, and have a chance to ask questions about Evergreen.

Broken Chains Golf Scramble - this Saturday, August 29 at Salem Country Club. Pick up a registration form in the office to get your team registered. Also, if you would like to be a hole sponsor, pick up a form at the table in the front hall.

Evergreen raised $1,153.52 for the Baby Bottle Boomerang for the Pregnancy CareClinic. Total amount raised... over $43,000 in over 1,000 bottles. Thank you!
