Our own Mike Ryan was dean of fish camp for Oil Belt Christian Service Camp. We had a great 3 days of fishing, camp fire devotions and a lot of fun.

Baby Bottle Boomerang has begun for the Pregnancy Care Clinic. Six bottles are left. Please take one and fill with cash, coins, or checks for the their biggest fundraiser of the year. Please return the bottle by Father’s Day, June 21.

Weekend VBS at Evergreen June 5-6. Launching kids on a mission of God’s Love. Bus service available. Ages Pre-K thru 6th grade. Closing program Sunday, June 7. Call the church office to pre-register your kids at 618-548-4438.

Fish Fry & Gospel Concert Friday, June 12 at Evergreen ~ Bring your friends and join us for the fish fry. Serving from 4-6:30. Menu includes fish, chicken, slaw, hush puppies, fries dessert and drink. Concert begins at 6 with Laila Smith and Jackson Heights at 7 p.m. Love offering will be received. Proceeds from the fish fry benefit Broken Chains.

Free Blood Pressure Checks - Beginning July 5, the nurses of Evergreen will be performing blood pressure checks on the first Sunday of every month immediately after worship in Room 101. No appointment needed. Ears will be checked also, if interested.

Mark your calendars! ServeSalem is July 25. This year’s theme is “Ripples.” Be saving your items from spring cleaning and de-cluttering to be a blessing to others in the community for our give-away. Please don’t bring any of your items until the week of July 20.
