Chrysalis Club girls prepared for Easter by making their own set of Resurrection Eggs….adding something small to each egg that helped tell the true story of Jesus’ death and resurrection. The last egg remained empty because on the first Easter Sunday that tomb was empty!!🙌🏼

Chrysalis Club girls began learning the fruit of the Spirit in sign language, and reflected on peace- the deep, deep down feeling of calm we have when we trust God and rest in His goodness, even when things around us feel chaotic. It’s so cool to know God!!☮️

Girls group this week: we continued learning about the Fruit of the Spirit. We read from the Bible about God’s love for us and our love for God and others.

Love-
Not just a feeling.
A decision to honor God and others.
Sometimes hard things like not seeking to repay bad treatment with payback.
Loving because God demonstrated his love to us while we were still in the wrong, not friends of him.
But through faith, Jesus forgives and restores us with his love and grace.

We made beautiful Valentine’s Day cards for our family and friends. ❤️

Chrysalis Club in January focused on JOY- a fruit of the Spirit! We learned the difference between happiness and joy: happiness is based on feelings and circumstances that change a lot, while joy is a deeper state of the heart rooted in God- His unchanging love, character, and promises. We made watercolor hearts, filled them with truths that give us joy, and were reminded that no one can take away our JOY!!💕

For the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Galatians 5:22-23a.

Thursday at Chrysalis Club, we started our new series learning about how God grows the fruit of his Spirit in us when we believe and follow Jesus. He plants the seeds of faith in us and grows us to be more like Jesus as we trust and obey him. His good fruit will be more and more evident in our lives.
