Every day we walk past things hidden in plain sight. The same is true in our own lives. What looks like chaos, loss, or setback is often God, the ultimate designer, working in the negative space to frame something greater than we can see.

Joseph lost four coats on his way to the palace — immaturity, self-sufficiency, bo***ge, and finally, he wore the coat of authority. Each one had to go before the next could come. As 2 Corinthians 4:18 reminds us, we fix our eyes not on what is seen but on what is unseen, because what is unseen is eternal.

Maybe God is asking you to lose a coat right now. A grudge. A habit. A version of yourself that no longer fits where He is taking you. You cannot hold on to where you are and get to where God wants you to go.

It is time to lose the coat.
