I love how the more you read God's word, and seek instruction from teachers like Andrew Wommack you find what God is saying.
I had always read through this chapter of Proverbs and thought it was talking about Jesus but Andrew points out that in the beginning of the chapter that it is understanding that was the main focus of this chapter.
And as we seek understanding we will find the true meanjng of God's word.

Proverbs 8:32
“Now therefore, listen to me, my children,
For blessed are those who keep my ways.

Proverbs 8:33
Hear instruction and be wise,
And do not disdain it.

Proverbs 8:34
Blessed is the man who listens to me,
Watching daily at my gates,
Waiting at the posts of my doors.

Proverbs 8:35
For whoever finds me finds life,
And obtains favor from the Lord;

Proverbs 8:36
But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul;
All those who hate me love death.”

Psalms 14:1-7

The fool has said in his heart,
“There is no God.”
They are corrupt,
They have done abominable works,
There is none who does good.
The Lord looks down from heaven upon the children of men,
To see if there are any who understand, who seek God.

There is none who does good,
No, not one.
Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge,
Who eat up my people as they eat bread,
And do not call on the Lord?
There they are in great fear,
For God is with the generation of the righteous.
You shame the counsel of the poor,
But the Lord is his refuge.
Oh,that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion!
When the Lord brings back the captivity of His people,
Let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad.

Psalms 33:18-22
Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him,
On those who hope in His mercy,
To deliver their soul from death,
And to keep them alive in famine.
Our soul waits for the Lord;
He is our help and our shield.
For our heart shall rejoice in Him,
Because we have trusted in His holy name.
Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
Just as we hope in You.

This is a very important passage of scripture.
When we accept Christ as our Savior, our spirits is what is born again but our minds and bodies are the same as they were before.
Until we have renewed our minds and cleaned out the junk of the world we have yet to experience what God has in store for us!

Romans 12:1,2
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

This is a verse all of us need to meditate on today. There is so much out there to have us wound up like a rubber band and stressing and worrying out of fear but when we focus on God's Word all things cower and fall away!
