Not every accusation deserves an answer. Sometimes faithfulness looks like stillness: guarding reputations, refusing rumor, and holding firm to Christ. Pastoral leadership is care with responsibility—clarity, boundaries, and hope—so the church can keep sharing God’s love in Jesus as we serve all people.

It can feel sometimes that God does not care about what is happening the world. The world can feel overwhelming with all of its trials and tribulations.

But the background of this photo shows that this is not true. God has redeemed us because of his faithful love for us.

These verses come from Psalm 44. It’s a prayer of lament for the community. May we join our prayers with those who feel crushed and are calling out for help.

We pray: How long, O Lord? Have mercy on us. Turn your ear to those who are crying in pain and desperation. Allow your faithful love to rule this world soon.
