The staff of Abbey Caskets took a step back in time during a tour of the old carpenter shop today. Though the shop is no longer in use, it was fascinating to see tools and projects that feel frozen in time.

A piece on the wall featured a fitting quote from Pope John Paul II: “Christ, while being God, devoted most of the years of his life on earth to manual work at the carpenter’s bench.”

A simple reminder of the dignity found in humble, meaningful work—values that continue to guide our work at Abbey Caskets every day.
