Wayne Street Church is a Global Methodist Church located at 130 North Wayne Street in St. We offer two Worship Services on Sundays. A traditional service is held at 8:30 AM and a contemporary service is held at 10:45 AM. Vision Statement:

Join us for the Wayne Street Church Picnic Carry-In on Sunday, June 28th from 4:00–7:00 PM at Noble School!

Grab your lawn chairs, bring your favorite side dish or dessert, and get ready for one of our favorite events of the summer!

One Meal Can Make a Difference! ❤️

Next Tuesday, June 23rd Wayne Street Church is teaming up with C.A.L.L. Ministry to serve a hot meal at the Celina Fairgrounds, and we need YOU!

Whether you can help prep food, serve a meal, hand out snacks, or help clean up, there's a place for everyone to jump in and make an impact. This is a simple but powerful way to put your faith into action and show the love of Christ to our neighbors across Mercer County.

🙌 Volunteer Opportunities:
🔹 Food Prep — 3:30 PM
🔹 Snack Serving — 4:00–4:30 PM
🔹 Meal Service — 5:00 PM
🔹 Clean Up — 5:30–6:00 PM

No special skills required, just a willing heart and a desire to serve!

Our Summer Road Trip Through Acts continues this Sunday at Wayne Street Church.

The early church changed the world because ordinary people were excited about Jesus. As we continue following the Apostle Paul's journey, we'll explore a simple but powerful question:

Are you excited by Jesus, or simply relieved by Him?

Maybe this summer is your moment to: Restart your faith, Jump Start your relationship with God, Kick Start a new season in life OR Just Start your journey with Jesus for the very first time!

No matter where you’ve been or where you’re coming from, there’s room for you on this journey.

Join us at 8:30 or 10:30 AM as we discover what happens when faith moves beyond relief and catches fire with purpose.

That’s a wrap on VBS 2026! 💙🎉

What an incredible week of messy fun, big laughs, unforgettable memories, and life-changing reminders about God’s love!

Our final night focused on the question: “How does God help with your mess?” Together we learned that no matter what kind of mess we’re facing, God never leaves us, never stops loving us, and always invites us to follow Him. What a powerful truth for all of us to remember!

The kids came dressed in white and ended the week in true Messy VBS fashion with chalk dust flying, wet socks squishing, shaving cream everywhere, and smiles from ear to ear!

We also wrapped up the night by sliming some of our favorite people, which was the perfect ending to an amazing week!

A huge THANK YOU to our incredible volunteers.

Your willingness to jump in wherever needed, your energy, patience, creativity, and love for these kids made this week possible.

We simply could not have done it without you. You are a blessing beyond words!

To all of our VBS families: We hope your children had the time of their lives and leave this week knowing one thing for certain……Jesus will never leave them alone in their mess.

His love is bigger than every mistake, every struggle, and every challenge they face.

DAY 3 OF VBS: Sparkle, Shine, Glitter & Goo! 💖✨

Wow… were our kids SHINING yesterday! Between the glitter, goo, smiles, and laughter, it was another amazing evening at VBS!

Yesterday’s big question was: “What’s YOUR mess?”

We talked about how everyone has messes in their lives such as mistakes, struggles, worries, messy bedrooms, fears, and sins.

The amazing truth is that Jesus loves us no matter what our mess is.

One person’s mess isn’t bigger, smaller, cleaner, or messier than someone else’s.

We all need Jesus, and His love is for everyone! ❤️

We also learned why we give to missions.

We aren’t just donating flip-flops and spare change because people need or want them, we give because Jesus calls us to love and serve others.

By sharing what we have, we get to share His love with people who might have a mess too!

Day 2 of Messy VBS was a WILD one… and our hair proves it! 🤪🎉🪮

Tonight we learned that even though sin makes a mess of our lives, Jesus loves us through every mess we make. No mess is too big for His love, grace, and forgiveness!❤️

Thank you to our amazing volunteers for helping make another incredible night possible!

We’re also so proud of our VBS kids for helping support two important missions through their donations of flip-flops and spare change. 👡🪙 Every gift helps us share the love of Jesus beyond our church walls!

What an AMAZING first night of Messy VBS! 🎉

From laughter and games to crafts, worship, and plenty of messes, we had an incredible time learning that even when life gets messy, God still loves us! ❤️

A huge THANK YOU to all of our volunteers who give their time, energy, and hearts to make this week so special for our kids. We couldn’t do it without you! 🙌

We also want to thank all of the families who joined us tonight. Seeing so many smiling faces made Day 1 a blast!
