Today we say goodbye to our friends from Grace UCC of Two Rivers after a beautiful retreat centered on resting with God.

In a world that so often tells us to hurry, accomplish, and move on to the next thing, this weekend invited us to slow down, breathe deeply, be present with one another, and simply be with God.

May you carry a little of Moon Beach’s stillness home with you—and remember that rest is holy, too.

Thank you Rod Vick & Dee Ban for hosting this week of family camp. The songs have been sung, the skits have taken their final bow, and another incredible Family Camp comes to a close. Thanks for the laughter, love, and lifelong memories. Safe travels—we'll save your place by the lake for next summer!

There is something sacred about saying goodbye to people who have become family.

As I reflect over the last several weeks of Family Camp, I want to reiterate that Moon Beach is more than a camp. It’s a second home. It’s where children grow up, friendships span generations, faith is renewed, and hearts find rest.

As you leave today, know this: a part of Moon Beach goes with you, and a part of you will always remain here. The lake, the pines, the cabins, and this community won’t be quite the same until you return.

Thank you for trusting us with your memories, your laughter, your tears, and your hearts.

Until next time, travel safely. Know you are deeply loved, and you’ll always have a home at Moon Beach. Thank you Sarah Parlier and family for hosting this week of camp!

Paul our auctioneer extraordinaire led us in raising over $2,200 (and still counting) for camp scholarships. Many dollars donated thanks to these awesome home made bucket hats that were donated!
