leaders.

READ Ministries will provide excellent support to ministries of evangelism and discipleship in Eurasia. The support for these ministries will be developed in conjunction with our partner ministries and accomplished by methods and programs consistent with the vision of READ such as the following:

Training Church leaders in using books and other media to further develop their own faith. Assisting c

hurches in creating and maintaining lending libraries of Christian media. Providing evangelism and discipleship resources for Christian workers and churches
ministering in orphanages, jails, drug and addiction rehabilitation houses and
other social outreach programs. Providing Christian media through the most effective distribution channels
possible.

A partner church in Balaklia, Ukraine was bombed by russians today. This town was once under russian occupation. Its pastor (pictured) was arrested, tortured and left for dead, but later returned to pastor his church after the town was liberated. Now their church has been bombed. So far no casualties reported. READ Ministries partnered with the Marsh Institute for Chaplains and Kyiv Theological Seminary - Київська богословська семінарія to organize the first Chaplain Training Roundtable, gathering 30+ chaplain training leaders from all over Ukraine to discuss the needs and challenges of chapain training in Ukraine's wartime context. READ actively supports chaplain training through events like this, publishing chaplain textbooks in Ukrainian and funding training.
