As we organize ourselves in the mosque, let us be organized in our communities. As we attain peace in prayer in the masjid, let us spread it through our encounters outside of the masjid.

He said that as a fisherman, he would love to be able to search maps and find lakes that are known for walleyes. Or if he is going to a new area he wants to be able to find guides (local experts) in that area that could show him the best places to fish. These services are available in the area but not very much is available through local searches on digital maps like MapQuest or Google.

Yesterday I was chatting with my neighbor, who is an avid fisherman. He especially likes the Alexandria and Brainerd Lakes areas for fishing. I told him about the project I am working on with you guys. Now what he said in response is key to what we discussed in he first session about how different groups of people are looking for different baskets of good and services.

Mappers are out in force throughout Alexandria and the Douglas county area. Look for people wearing white baseball caps with the "Navteq" written on it.
