Join the MENsch Group at Temple Adas Israel on Sunday, October 25, at 9:30 AM for breakfast and conversation! 🍳

For Session 7, we’ll explore the meaning, history, and practice of Tefillin. Following the intensity and inspiration of the High Holidays, we’ll discuss how to keep that spiritual momentum going through one of Judaism’s most meaningful mitzvot.

Anyone interested will have the opportunity to put on Tefillin, whether for the first time or as a way to reconnect with the practice. If you own a pair, bring them along!

The MENsch Group is a welcoming, inclusive community for men of all ages to connect, reflect, and learn together, rooted in Jewish values and real-life experience.

💙 The Temple Caring Program 💙

At Temple Adas Israel, caring for one another is at the heart of our community.

Our Caring Program offers support to temple members experiencing the loss of a loved one (Nichum Aveilim) or navigating illness and recovery (Bikur Cholim). Our dedicated volunteers provide hospital and home visits, phone calls, meals, shopping assistance, support with funeral and shiva arrangements, and more.

Whether you or a loved one needs support, or you’d like to volunteer your time, we’re here for you. No one in our community has to face a difficult time alone.

📞 Need support? Call the Temple Office at 631-725-0904. In the event of a death, please ask for Rabbi Dan Geffen at extension 102 or email [email protected].

💙 Interested in volunteering? Contact Caring Program Director Gail Gambino at [email protected] or call the Temple Office at 631-725-0904.

Together, we can continue to show up for one another with compassion, kindness, and care. 💙
