Last Sunday was such a sweet day at Cypress 💐
We loved celebrating all the amazing moms and mother figures in our church and community, and starting the morning with coffee from .ca was definitely a bonus! ☕️

Here are just a handful of the beautiful moments we captured throughout the morning. We’re so thankful for the women who love, lead, encourage, serve, and show up every day in big and small ways!

Bring your mom, your grandma, your auntie, your best friend, or the person who’s been that loving presence in your life. 💕

Join us at 9am or 11am, and come early starting at 8:30am to grab mom her favorite drink from the special NOOD coffee cart! ☕✨ .ca

We’ll also have a special gift for every mom and a beautiful photo backdrop for family pictures! We can’t wait to celebrate with you tomorrow!

We don’t hunt people down for judgment; we seek them out to bring them to grace!

This week in “Welcome Here”, Pastor Marcus reminded us that the world may “profile the person”, but Jesus pursues the soul.

Our mission as the Church isn’t to decide who “looks” worthy of love, grace, or belonging. It’s to provide the welcome while Jesus provides the way.

No matter someone’s background, story, status, or mistakes… EVERY soul matters to God. And if He could build the early church through people as different as Lydia, a slave girl, and a jailer, He can use us too!

Let’s be people who shine His love so brightly that others stop looking at appearances and start looking at our Father. ✝️

Mother’s Day is coming up this Sunday, and we’ve been thinking about the women who taught us some of our very first truths about God!

How to pray when we’re afraid.
How to serve quietly.
How to forgive deeply.
How to love unconditionally.

We’re thankful for the moms, grandmas, mentors, spiritual mothers, and mother figures who continue to point people toward Jesus every day.
