This Sunday at First Parish S**o, we're asking a question that people have wrestled with for generations: **What does it mean to live a good life?**

In his message, **“The Good Life,”** Rev. Scott Cousineau will explore Psalm 1 and Matthew 22:34–46, where Jesus reminds us of the greatest commandments: to love God with all our heart, soul, and mind, and to love our neighbors as ourselves. Together, we'll reflect on what it means to build a life rooted not in wealth, success, or recognition, but in faith, compassion, and love.

Like a tree planted by streams of water, a life grounded in God's love can grow strong, bear fruit, and offer something meaningful to the world around us. It's a reminder that the good life isn't just about what we receive, but about the love we share.

This Sunday at First Parish S**o, we’re celebrating Bible Sunday! It’s a special opportunity to recognize the importance of scripture in our lives and to present Bibles to some of our young people as they continue their journeys of faith.

With Pastor Scott feeling under the weather, Renee Kaufman will be leading us in worship and sharing a message titled “Golden Repair,” inspired by Acts 19:1–7. This passage tells of believers discovering a deeper understanding of their faith and experiencing the presence of the Holy Spirit. It’s a reminder that our journeys of faith are never finished, and that God continues to work within us, renewing and strengthening us along the way.

As we present Bibles to our children, we’ll celebrate the ways God’s Word continues to guide us, inspire us, and remind us that there is always room for growth, renewal, and new beginnings.
