Due to the forecasted rain, we will be postponing our Church Yard Cleanup until next Wednesday.
Join us on Wednesday, June 24 at 6:30 p.m. as we work together to spruce up our church grounds. Whether you can stay for 15 minutes or the whole evening, many hands make light work!

📸 Attention, Calvary Family!
I'm looking for photos of the fathers and father figures in your life for Father's Day. And I'm not talking about the perfectly posed pictures. I'm talking about dads being dads! Fishing, grilling, fixing things, "resting their eyes" in a chair, telling bad jokes, cheering from the sidelines, or doing whatever makes them THEM.

You can see a few examples of my own dad below. 😊 Send your photos my way by Friday night, please!

Fair warning... things are about to get a little different around here. 😄 We've got root beer floats, outdoor worship, campfires, pets, and potluck food all on the calendar.
More details to come, but here's a look at some of the special services we've got planned at Calvary.

Throwback Thursday is BACK!!

Today we're taking a trip all the way back to September 12, 1942, when the VERY FIRST council meeting minutes of what would become Calvary Lutheran Church were recorded.
These first few meetings laid the foundation for the church family we know and love today. Members gathered to officially organize the congregation, elect board members, and begin the important work of building a church community rooted in faith.

One detail that made us smile? Membership dues were set at just 25 cents per month!

As we look through these handwritten pages, we're reminded that every ministry, every worship service, every baptism, every confirmation student, and every cup of fellowship coffee traces its roots back to faithful people who said "yes" to God's call nearly 84 years ago.
We're grateful for those who came before us and excited to continue the story they started.
