Devotion today is from Christian author Lysa TerKeurst

“Anything we place in the hands of our God will never, ever truly be gone. We can feel afraid of loss and grief and sacrifice and disappointment and getting our hearts broken and trusting Him when it makes no sense to us at all. But we don’t have to stay afraid.
There’s a verse I love to bring to mind when I think about placing things in God’s hands: “‘Has not my hand made all these things, and so they came into being?’ declares the LORD. ‘These are the ones I look on with favor: those who are humble and contrite in spirit, and who tremble at my word’” (Isaiah 66:2)
How powerful God’s hands are. His hands restore and wipe tears and hold His people with love and care.
He can turn loss into purpose. He can turn grief into healing. He can turn sacrifice into gifts we are delighted to give up. He can take our disappointments and turn them into peaceful perspectives. He can turn broken hearts into a deeper sense of being loved by God Himself. He gives such favor to those who humbly trust Him because they are so moved by His Word.

Lord, thank You for being trustworthy even when we don’t understand what You are doing. Help us to loosen our grip on the things we’re afraid to surrender, placing them fully into Your hands, knowing You are able to redeem, restore, and bring purpose from every sacrifice and every sorrow. Give us humble hearts that tremble at Your Word, and give us courage to trust You when the path feels uncertain. Remind us that nothing entrusted to You is ever wasted, and let our lives become beautiful evidence of Your faithfulness for generations to come. In Jesus name, amen”

“Has not my hand made all these things, and so they came into being? Declares the Lord, ‘these are the ones I look on with favor: those who are humble and contrite in spirit, and who tremble at my Word.’”
Isaiah 66:2

We’re beginning a new Communion Care Ministry and are looking for caring volunteers!
This ministry will take communion to members of our church family who live in nursing homes or are homebound, reminding them that they remain a loved and important part of our church.
Volunteers will:
• Serve in pairs
• Visit on Sunday afternoons
• Schedule visits at a time convenient for them
• Share communion, conversation, and prayer
If you have a compassionate heart and would like to serve, please call the church office at **937-584-4056**.
Together, we can bring the love of Jesus—and the fellowship of His table—to those who cannot join us in person. ❤️

This Sunday's sermon! Luke 17:11-19...one of the most significant changes that Jesus Christ wants to make in our personalities is to transform us into people who are continually grateful. Jesus asks three questions of us:
1. Why is gratitude important?
2. Why are we ungrateful?
3. How can we become more grateful?
See ya at 10am for a beautiful time of worship & celebrate AND gratitude!!
