In honor of Relaxation Day, remember: On the 7th Day God rested and declared that the work he had done was good. This holds true for the work of the Cross. The work of the cross is complete! Rest now in Christ's finished work.

You can't earn God's love.
You can't work your way to heaven.
You can't save yourself.
But here's the Good News:
God intervened.
He saw.
He heard.
He came down.
He rescued.
The cross wasn't humanity reaching God.
It was God reaching humanity.
That's why it's called Good News.

Religion says: "Climb higher."
The Gospel says: "God came down."

Every religion tells us to earn our way to God through good works, rituals, or self-improvement.
But Christianity is different.
"I have surely seen the affliction of my people... I have come down to deliver them." — Exodus 3:7-8

Jesus didn't wait for us to find Him.
He came to seek and save the lost.
That's the heart of the Gospel:
God intervened.
He intervenes for your salvation.
He intervenes for your healing.
He intervenes for your peace.
He intervenes for your joy.
You don't have to climb to heaven.
Heaven came looking for you.
