🎉 VBS 2026 Family Night Recap! 🎉

What an incredible way to close out an amazing week of VBS at RFBC!

Tonight, we celebrated Family Night and had the opportunity to share all that our kids learned throughout the week. Each age group proudly performed the songs they learned in music, and it was such a joy to see them worship and shine on stage!

A huge thank you to all of our parents for trusting us with your children this week. It has been a blessing to spend these days teaching them about Jesus, building friendships, and making lasting memories. If you do not have a church home, we would love to welcome you and your family to Russellville, Alabama First Baptist Church and help you get plugged in.

We wrapped up the night with two crowd favorites—the Ice Cream Truck The Ice Cream Truck - Russellville, Aland an epic FOAM PARTY, Foam Team Parties-Middle TN! 🍦🫧🎉

Thank you to everyone who volunteered, prayed, donated, and supported VBS 2026. We are grateful for all God has done this week and look forward to seeing the seeds that were planted continue to grow!

🎉 VBS Foam Party Tonight! 🎉

Parents and VBS Guests,

Tonight we will be celebrating the end of an amazing week of VBS with a Foam Party! The kids are going to have a blast!

A few reminders:
✅ Wear your VBS shirt or a plain T-shirt
✅ Bring a towel for the ride home
✅ Goggles are welcome if your child would like to wear them
✅ Be prepared to get wet and have lots of fun!

⚠️ Please note: Once the foam party begins, the church building will be closed to help prevent water and foam from being tracked inside, which could make the floors wet and slippery.

💡✨ Illumination Station VBS 2026 at RFBC ✨💡

What an incredible week! We are praising the Lord for His faithfulness and for all He did through VBS this year. From the laughter and excitement to the Bible lessons and worship, God was at work in so many hearts.

We are thankful for every seed that was planted this week as children learned that Jesus is the Light of the World! 🌟

A huge thank you to our amazing team of volunteers who made this week possible: our Senior Pastor, Youth Pastor, leader guides, crafts team, recreation team, music team, food team, Bible story team, security team, nursery team, registration team, tech and sound team, decorators, photographers, and everyone else who served behind the scenes. Your love, dedication, and servant hearts made a lasting impact.

✨ VBS Night 3 Recap! ✨

What an incredible third night at VBS! We were blessed to have 85 kids and 80+ amazing church members and volunteers who helped make the night a success. Thank you to everyone who continues to pour their time, energy, and love into these children each night!

📖 Tonight’s Bible Story: Peter Preached About Jesus (Acts 2)

💡 Today’s Point: Jesus is God’s Plan for Forgiveness.

❓ Spotlight Question: Why do I need to respond to Jesus?
✅ Answer: Jesus is the only way to receive God’s forgiveness.

📖 Bonus Verse:
“Repent and be baptized, each of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” — Acts 2:38

Tonight, our kids learned that God loves us so much that He provided a way for our sins to be forgiven through Jesus Christ. Just as Peter boldly shared the good news, we are called to respond to Jesus and trust Him as our Savior.

🌟 VBS Night 2 Recap! 🌟

What an incredible night at VBS! We were blessed to have 103 kids and 80+ adults join us for an amazing evening of worship, learning, fun, and fellowship. Thank you to everyone who helped make Night 2 such a success!

📖 Tonight’s Bible Story: Jesus Performed Miracles (Matthew 15:29-39)

💡 Spotlight Question: Was Jesus just a teacher?

✅ Answer: Everything Jesus said and did showed that He is the powerful Son of God.

✨ Today’s Point: Jesus is the powerful Son of God.
