Heavenly Father,
This weekend we honor the men in our lives who have carried the name of dad, imperfectly, faithfully, and with more love than they probably knew how to say out loud. We thank You for them. We ask You to bless them with strength for today and wisdom for tomorrow.
We pray for every person whose relationship with their earthly father is complicated or painful or simply gone. Remind them today that they are not fatherless. You see them. You claim them.
You love them.
And for every dad who wonders if any of it is making a difference, it is. The faithfulness they can't see yet is being written into the lives of their children right now.
Thank You for being the Father who defines what the word was always meant to mean. In Jesus' name, Amen.
