We live in a world that wants to see the fruit without understanding the importance of the roots. We want the blessings, the breakthrough, the growth, and the harvest…but sometimes we forget that the most important work happens beneath the surface, where no one else can see.

Before God produces fruit in our lives, He often works on our foundation. He teaches us to trust Him in the waiting, strengthens our faith in the trials, and develops our character in the quiet seasons.

When He is our foundation, the storms of life may come but the roots hold fast. They provide stability, protection, and nourishment. We can weather anything and be fruitful in due season, but only if we have roots.
