We are closing in on the end of our study of Joseph this week, as we see how everything that has happened in his life has led to the moment of choice - forgiveness or punishment? Come join us! His story has a lot to say to us as we go through a life where forgiveness is not always easy.

I have just returned from our New England Annual Conference. It was several days of worship, of challenge, and of learning, all built around Hebrews 11:1. This week, I will report on Conference and what it means for us as a church. Come join us.

WORSHIP WITH US AT RUPERT METHODIST THIS SUNDAY

We are celebrating Pentecost a week late this Sunday. I love this transformational day in the life of the church, with its dramatic wind and fire. But perhaps the most important part of the celebration is not the day itself, but the preparation that happened in the days before. That's where our lesson lies this week.

BIBLE STUDY WITH RUPERT AND RUTLAND METHODIST CHURCHES TONIGHT.

What would be the hardest Freedom for you to lose? How would losing that freedom affect you, your relationship with God and other people? How would you keep going? Those are questions we will be asking as we continue in our study of Joseph in Genesis tonight. Joseph is in prison, thrown away a second time and he has choices, just like we do in hard times. Come study with us and see how he deals with the challenges. It might help us handle our own challenges!

WORSHIP WITH US AT RUPERT METHODIST THIS SUNDAY!

Back from Italy and I can't wait to see everyone!

This Sunday we will finish our series on "The Good Church" as we talk about how the good church knows HOW to talk. Sometimes, often actually, HOW we say things is more important than what we say. That is an important lesson for us in today's church. Looking aT scripture from the Old and New Testaments, we will take a look at how focusing on how we talk to others has so much to do with how, or even if, we draw others into God's loving family.

This week at Rupert Methodist, we will continue in our series about "The Good Church". So far, we have talked about why it is important to be a good church, about how a good church encourages, and how a good church is a place of safety.
This week, we talk about how the good church needs to be courageous.

We will talk about how, biblically, courageous might not be what we think; why we need to be courageous, and how we become courageous. Come join us! Services are at 8:45, leaving you the rest of the day to enjoy our fine spring weather!
