WORSHIP WITH US AT RUPERT METHODIST!

Sunday, we continue our series on spiritual disciplines as a path to grow closer to God. This week we look at Stewardship, but in a different, holistic way. Using Mark's story of feeding the 5,000 and Paul's letter to the Romans we will learn the power of gratitude and understand how seeing God as the great giver can change our lives and bring us closer to God, and even in partnership with him. Come join us!

Services are at 8:45. Come join us in the sanctuary and stay after for a time of fellowship. Or join us online. The link is below.

Blessings to you all!

Tom

PS: The feedback I got last week said you liked the Zoom version of the service more than the Facebook Live version, so we are back to Zoom this week.

WORSHIP AT RUPERT METHODIST CHURCH THIS SUNDAY.

The first Sunday in October is World Communion Sunday. United Methodist congregations join many Christian denominations across the globe for this celebration of unity in this holy sacrament.

We all want to be closer to God. That's a given for any Christian. But how do we get there, and more importantly, how do we stay there? For the next few weeks we will look at the traditional spiritual disciplines that are a proven system to build and maintain that holy closeness. Come join us and learn more! Services start at 8:45.

Come worship with your neighbors in our sanctuary at 315 and 153 in Rupert. Or on-line via Zoom. The link is below.

Blessings,

Tom

ONLINE BIBLE STUDY WITH RUPERT AND RUTLAND METHODIST CHURCHES TONIGHT.

We continue in our study of the Torah tonight, with God's instructions for creating a space for worship. It is an interesting story that tells us more about the early Israelites than it appears, and influences church design even today! Come join us!

WORSHIP WITH RUPERT METHODIST THIS SUNDAY.

I recently had someone tell me that life goes better when they go to church. I happen to believe that wholeheartedly!

So this week, a sermon about "judge not" turned out to have elements like Billy Graham, "You only had one job" memes, making life easier, and why God is God and we are not. Sound interesting? Come join us!

Services are at 8:45. Come join your neighbors in our sanctuary at the corner of 315 and 153 in Rupert. Or join our online fellowship via the zoom link below. Either way, I hope to see you!

WORSHIP AT RUPERT METHODIST THIS SUNDAY!

We often talk about the power of love. What kind of power is it? And how should be we using that power? Love turns to power when we use it in a specific way. That will be our focus this Sunday while at worship. Come join us! Services are at 8:45.

If you live close, then join us in the sanctuary on the corner of 315 and 153 in RUpert. Sing, pray, learn and fellowship with your neighbors. Or, if you live a distance away, join us on line via Zoom. The link is below.

It is also communion. Remember, in the Methodist tradition, all are welcome to partake of this holy sacrament so we invite YOU to the table!

Blessings,

Pastor Tom
