THIS SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, we will gather at the Pawlet Community Church or on Facebook live for worship at 9:30 a.m. It is a communion Sunday so if you are not able to be with us, you might want to plan to have some bread and juice/wine available so that you are able to participate in the celebration of the Lord's Supper with us.

If you have a prayer request that you would like included in our prayers, let me know.

TODAY IS THE PORK SUPPER! Plan to come to eat or help out.

THE TRUSTEES will meet this Wednesday at 6:45 p.m.
THE PAWLET COMMUNITY FOOD PANTRY is open this week for distribution on Thursday, September 10 from 3:30-5:30 p.m.

Join us tomorrow for a FIFTH SUNDAY Breakfast Potluck at 9:30 a.m. and then join in on a variety of activities - processing corn for the food pantry, cleaning food pantry shelves, decluttering, cleaning pews, or a small painting job. Something for everyone! Hope you will consider joining us!

REMINDER ... this Sunday, August 30, is a FIFTH SUNDAY and we are gathering for a Breakfast Potluck at 9:30 a.m. and then activities to follow including processing sweet corn, cleaning food pantry shelves, and cleaning up/organizing the downstairs space. In addition, the Little Free Food Pantry doors need some painting. In addition, if we have more volunteers we may clean the sanctuary pews .

SOME THINGS TO BRING:

Does anyone have some white exterior paint they could bring? There isn't a lot to painted to it won't take a lot of paint so if anyone has some exterior white paint laying around that could be used, that would be great!
If you have any tools to help with removing corn from the cob, please bring them!
Murphy's Oil Soap and some rags and towels to help with pew cleaning
If you are able to bring a breakfast item to share, that would be great.
If you have any of the "needed items," please let me know!

HIS SUNDAY, AUGUST 23, we will gather for worship, in-person and on Facebook Live at 9:30 a.m. Our scripture reading is once again from the gospel of Matthew, with Jesus' question to his disciples, "Who do you say that I am?"

If you have a prayer request, be sure to let me know so that we can include it in our prayers tomorrow.

LOOKING AHEAD ...
- NEXT SUNDAY, AUGUST 30 IS A FIFTH SUNDAY! Mark your calendars and plan to be with us for another opportunity to put out faith into action. We will gather for a Breakfast Potluck at 9:30 a.m. followed by a variety of activities - cleaning the food pantry space, organizing the downstairs, and processing local vegetables for the food pantry distribution. If you are able, bring a breakfast item to share and plan to be with us!

-SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 5 IS THE NEXT PORK SUPPER! Plan now to help with the dinner or plan to come and eat.

Continuing reminder...
The Little Free Food Pantry, located at the Pawlet Fire Department, it is always open for donations. The next time you are out to pick up some groceries consider adding a few additional items for the Little Free Food Pantry. Suggested items include peanut butter, jelly, cereal, spaghetti and sauce, macaroni and cheese, tuna, cleaning products - laundry detergent and dishwashing soap, and personal care products - toothpaste, shampoo, soap.
