Sam and Bonnie delivered and helped out at our last food pantry visit. He learned how food boxes put together and met Ella and Monroe, who lead this ministry. The Robbins Elementary Food Pantry is closed this summer, due to the transition of staff at one of the agencies that provides food and a need for more funding. A generous member has agreed to match donations to our local food pantry, up to $1000. Please consider supporting this important ministry that helps feed people in our community.

Would you be interested in Christ Church Rugby offering this class?

A new three-session, video-based course about baptism, Eucharist, and the church’s sacramental rites is available for download or streaming with accompanying study guides. “Signs and Grace: An Introduction to the Sacraments” marks the first video collaboration between The Episcopal Church and Forward Movement in a partnership designed to provide free formation resources for dioceses and congregations.

The course—which includes 45- or 60-minute options, with facilitator and participant guides—is ideal for newcomer classes, adult forums, Sunday school, small groups, and those preparing for confirmation. The three 20-minute-long videos are in English with Spanish subtitles, as well as the study guides.

Ryan and Bonnie represented Christ Church Rugby at the Robbins Elementary School Food Pantry in May. We are collecting instant mashed potatoes (individual servings) in June. Please have donations at the church by Tuesday morning, June 23rd. We also accept cash donations for the pantry.

We're well on our way to carbon neutrality at the diocesan house! Your Bishop & Council will celebrate the completion of the solar panel system installation with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Representatives from Solar Alliance will be present. All are welcome to attend
