Feeling blessed to have been able to help out locally in Evart, MI the last couple days with Samaritan’s Purse. Always a humbling experience and yet fun with friends (new, old, from near and far) doing the work God has called us too. We love that we can help people in some of their hardest times and lessen the burden of disasters recovery for them.

This is one of the organizations we deploy with for Disaster Relief and we are so thankful they are coming to help in our areas. We too will be going to help for Day Volunteering on Monday 5/4/26 and maybe more depending on work schedules. If you are interested in going with let me know directly.

We are excited to announce that we got word of being awarded our very first grant for Disaster Relief courtesy of Wilbur-Ellis. Thank you Dennis Devitt for making this happen for us! We greatly appreciate the support. We are trying to raise $45,000 to purchase a mini-excavator and this $2,500 will be the first towards this goal.

Does your business or workplace give out grants to organizations, etc? Or do you know one that does? We are looking for monthly support, grants and/or one time donations for our non profit Filling the Gap Ministries to purchase a mini excavator and general operations. We did day volunteering 3/16/26 with Samaritan’s Purse in Union City. We invited our church, a friends church, our employees from Big John's Pizza and kids to come with us. We ended up having 15 in our group come and serve. Many of whom was their first time. So thankful to be surrounded by people who want to love and serve. God put us in the very exact location that the 3 adults lost their lives. It was so heartbreaking to see all the devastation and knowing lives were lost there. While cleaning up God put it on my heart to be praying for all these people specifically. So please keep praying for this area as they have a long road ahead and things will never be the same.

This is how we spent our day today with Samaritan’s Purse, a couple of our kids, an employee, some friends from our church and another church in our area. Always a blessing to be a blessing.

Neal will be deploying with this group for a few days this week 3/11/26-3/13/26 as he is apart of the Rapid Response Heavy equipment team. We are now accepting donations for our ministry which will pay for travel expenses to and from deployments.
