What does the Bible call someone who hates correction?

Proverbs 12:1: ". . .whoever hates correction is stupid. . ."

Correction is like lane assist. It beeps when you drift. Don't turn it off. Thank God for it.

You wouldn't want a car without it. Why would you want a church without it?

Before you jab back, pray: "Lord, help me to be humble and receive correction."

What did Peter have that money couldn't buy?

"Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee."

The apostles didn't have much silver and gold. They had much of God!

Question to self: Do I also have that? 😩

Don't measure a ministry, or your own walk, by what's in the bank.

Measure it by how much of God is in you.

Acts 3:6

Does Jesus promise to fix your life?

He is a deliverer, and we can pray with anyone about what they're facing.

But if someone comes to Christ expecting every problem to vanish, they'll want out if it doesn't.

The deliverance they need most is from sin. Peter's message was simple: you're guilty, repent, and be saved from this crooked generation.

Share the real gospel. It's better than the weak one.

Why do you forget the sermon so fast?

Jesus said when the Word is heard but not understood, the enemy snatches it away, like birds eating seed off a path. Funny how we never forget the gossip or the offense, but the Word is gone before we get home.

What was Sunday's sermon about? Did the birds already get it from you? 🙆🏽‍♂️

What question could no one answer Jesus?

“Whose son is the Christ?” David’s. “Then how does David call Him Lord?” Nobody could answer. Jesus is David’s son by birth and David’s Lord before David ever lived.

Save this for the next time someone says Jesus never claimed to be more than a man.

Have you ever wondered why God appeared to Moses in a thorn bush?

In Genesis 3, thorns are associated with the curse of sin. In Acts 7, God declares that He has seen His people’s suffering and heard their cries.

Later, Jesus would wear a crown of thorns.
These passages invite us to consider a connection between suffering, the curse, and God’s work of redemption.

When life gets difficult, don’t let your circumstances distract you from what Scripture reveals about God.

Read Acts 7:34–35. Pay attention to what God says.

You’d stand up for a judge without thinking twice. What about Jesus?

In a courtroom, the moment someone says “All rise,” everyone stands. Rich or poor, it doesn’t matter.

Jesus said the Father has given all judgment to the Son, so that all will honor the Son just as they honor the Father.

He came first to save. He’ll return as Judge. Honor Him now.

Think Jesus is out to condemn you? Read John 3:17 again.

A lifeguard doesn’t swim out to drown you. He comes because you’re already going under. God didn’t send His Son to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned.
