God didn’t come from somewhere. He has always been. Before the world existed, before time had a beginning, God already was. When Moses asked what to call Him…God said, “I AM WHO I AM.” Time is part of His creation, not something He’s bound by. He’s the author of it all, standing outside the very thing we use to measure everything. From everlasting to everlasting, He is God. And that changes just about everything.

We’re quick to want justice for others and grace for ourselves. But the cross reminds us that we’ve all been offered a grace we could never earn.
