Advent means “coming.” It is the season in the church year—spanning the four Sundays before Christmas—when we prepare our hearts to remember the two comings of Christ:
✨ His first coming in Bethlehem, through His incarnation
✨ His future coming in glory to judge the living and the dead
Advent invites us into a time of meaningful reflection on both of these great truths. Christ has come, and Christ is coming again!
This Sunday, we took time to reflect on God’s peace—the peace He supplies without end through Jesus. While Christ came to put an end to sin and its penalty once and for all, His coming accomplished so much more. In Him, we receive unshakable hope, wholehearted peace, and eternal life.
🕯 Join us at 10:30am on Sunday, December 7th, as we light the Love Candle.
We would love for you and your family to worship with us as we continue this beautiful season of anticipation and joy.
