🎥 NEW SERMON AVAILABLE

What do we do when life is difficult, uncertain, or overwhelming?

Psalm 63 reminds us that our greatest need is not comfort, control, or escape—but God Himself.

In this message, we explore how believers are called to:

• Seek God earnestly
• Delight in His presence
• Praise Him passionately

No matter what season you are facing, God is worthy of your worship. He is our refuge, our joy, and our satisfaction.

Watch or listen today.

When life is difficult, uncertain, or overwhelming, where do you turn?

Psalm 63 reminds us that our greatest need in every season is not escape, comfort, or control—it is God Himself.

This week, we explored what it means to worship in difficult times by:

• Seeking God earnestly
• Delighting in God's presence
• Praising God passionately

**Big Idea:** In difficult times, our worship is to be earnest, delighting in God and passionate.

No matter what season you are walking through, God remains our refuge, our joy, and our satisfaction. As we draw near to Him, we discover that He is enough.

🎥 Watch the sermon and be encouraged to pursue Christ more deeply, even in life's hardest moments.

Let this be our prayer:

In all my sorrows, Jesus is better.
In every victory, Jesus is better.
Than any comfort, Jesus is better.
More than all riches, Jesus is better.

When life is hard, He is enough.
When life is good, He is still our greatest treasure.

May God help our hearts believe what our lips confess:

“Jesus is better.”

And may our souls join the song of heaven:

“Glory, glory, we have no other King but Jesus, Lord of all.”

👶 What a special Sunday!

Today we had the joy of dedicating four precious children to the Lord:

• Nathan Heard
• Kalidyn Bendele
• Vander Heard
• Amelia Hatcher

Baby dedication is a beautiful reminder that children are a gift from God and that parents are called to faithfully point them to Christ. As a church family, we also reaffirmed our commitment to support, encourage, and pray for these families as they seek to raise their children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

Please join us in praying for these children and their parents in the years ahead. May God grant them wisdom, grace, and faithfulness as they disciple the next generation.

"Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it." — Proverbs 22:6

What does it mean to be a good worshipper?

A good worshipper is not merely someone who sings loudly, plays skillfully, or attends church regularly. A good worshipper is someone whose heart is captivated by the glory of God revealed in Jesus Christ.

This morning we were reminded through a quote from Bob Kauflin that true worship flows from amazement at the gospel. When we grasp that Christ willingly took our place, bore our sins, and reconciled us to God, gratitude becomes impossible to contain. Worship is the natural response of a heart transformed by grace.

May our worship extend beyond songs and Sundays into our thoughts, words, and actions throughout the week—all for the glory of Christ.

Continually Delight in God

This morning we were reminded from Psalm 63 that true satisfaction is not found in circumstances, comfort, or earthly pleasures—but in God Himself.

“Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you.” — Psalm 63:3

David’s response in the wilderness was not despair, but delight. As believers, we are called to continually behold God’s glory, treasure His steadfast love, and find our deepest satisfaction in Him.

May we seek Him earnestly, delight in Him continually, and praise Him passionately throughout the week.

🎙️ New Episode Available — Part Two

How should Christians think about divorce, remarriage, abuse, separation, forgiveness, and restoration?

In this episode of CLF Conversations, Perry and Pastor Dave tackle some of the hardest and most personal questions surrounding marriage and brokenness. Through Scripture and pastoral wisdom, they discuss how truth and grace belong together—and how the gospel offers hope for every broken story.

Topics include:
• Abuse and pastoral care
• Separation and safety
• Remarriage after divorce
• Restoration and reconciliation
• Forgiveness and repentance
• Caring for divorced believers

The gospel does not minimize sin, but it does offer healing, hope, and redemption through Jesus Christ.
