We’re a few weeks out and have made progress! We will miss Christmas but we can still get her family in for the new year! Only $1000 to finish a sweet little home!

When we were ministering at the Women’s Conference in Lukaya we were introduced to a young lady and her children. She was a pastor’s wife who had recently been widowed. Her husband was killed in an automobile accident just a few weeks earlier.

She and her children were being evicted from their rental and had nowhere to go. Her husband had bought land but they hadn’t been able to begin construction. We took an offering at the conference, local pastors contributed and construction began on a home for this family.

We have continued to send funds as they come in and the house is nearly ready for the ring beam(a critical piece before the roof). They currently live in a single room house(not one bedroom but one room)! I would love to see them in their home by Christmas!

SUPER EXCITED TO BE RETURNING TO UGANDA APRIL 2025! We want to be able to participate in a SHOE GIVE with My360Project again this trip. In order to make this work we neet to sponsor 15 shoes per person. That means 60 shoes for our four team members! LET'S DO IT!

Still looking back on our trip in March and reminiscing on how good God is! One of our most exciting events was definitely our Shoe Give through My360Project. We went to a primary school in one of the slums of Kampala, washed feet, put on NEW socks and shoes, and prayed over 138 kiddos in a little over two hours! My360Project totally meets our core values of excellence, integrity, and sustainability through artisan training, locally sourced supplies, and meeting a need in their communities. What a privilege to observe this first hand!

We knew about being a shoe hero, but we found out about Artmox! You can order shoes to be shipped to you, you decorate them, and send them back! You receive a picture of the child wearing your shoes when they are given out. How fun is that!? Our My360Project missionary host, Lisa Novotny, happened to have a few pairs for us to play with. We colored the shoes our last night in Uganda, and she gave them out after we left. The next time we will do our Artmox before our give!

We have returned from an amazing trip to Uganda! A huge thank you to all who donated goods and funds for this trip and continue to regularly sow into Bandelmans in Africa as we continue to support His work around globe! Over the next few months watch for updates on the ministries we found to be outstanding in integrity and excellence!

APRIL FOCUS: Open Heaven Ministries and New Life Church

Open Heaven Ministries is growing and expanding their influence with outreaches, pastoral connections, and community wide trainings! It was exciting to minister in their newly purchased building! Joseph is staying true to his call to start a church and has renovated an older school building into a sanctuary, children’s area, and small kitchen. Brian and the majority of the team experienced a fun children’s morning of singing and dancing. Brian brought the word and two people gave their hearts to Jesus!

Shelly and Rozena ministered at New Life Church, a tent in Pastor Paul’s front yard. It was a fun service sharing memories from our beginnings in Uganda, the goodness of God, and where we are all going as He moves us forward.

The ladies on the team finished the day back at OHM with lunch and an encouraging word for over 50 ladies from eight area churches! We closed the event with fingernail polish and pens! Little gifts with big impact!
