Kid LIFE Rome

Kid LIFE Rome KidLIFE is the children’s ministry of LIFE Church, serving birth–5th grade.

We partner with parents to create safe, Christ-centered environments where kids know that Jesus is their friend forever, learn God’s Word, and build a strong foundation of faith.

**God gave you gifts for a reason!**

Your gifts aren't just about what you're good at—they can be used to **show God's love to other people.** ❤️

Read **Matthew 5:14** together.

Maybe your gift is:
🎨 Creativity
👑 Leadership
🧩 Problem-solving
💬 Encouragement
🤝 Helping others

Whatever your gift is, **God can use it for something bigger than you.**

When you use your gifts to help people, encourage friends, and serve others, God's light shines through you.

✨ **Don't hide your gifts. Use them!**

🙏 **Today's prayer:**

“Dear God, thank You for the gifts You placed in me. Help me use them to help others and show Your love. Teach me to work with others and grow the gifts You have given me. May my life shine like a light for Your kingdom. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Parents, remind your child today:

**You don't have to be good at everything. You just need to be willing to use what God has given you.**

God can take the gifts He placed in your child and use them to make a difference in His kingdom. ❤️

**God grows His gifts in me to build His kingdom.**

**Gifts grow!**

Think about it:

🎨 The more you practice drawing, the better you get.
❤️ The more you practice kindness, the easier it becomes.
🤝 The more you practice helping others, the better you become at serving.

God can grow the gifts He has placed inside you!

Read **Proverbs 22:29** together today.

Our gifts aren't just for us. God can use them to **help others and build His kingdom.** 🙌

💭 **Today's reflection:**

Ask your child:

**“What is something you enjoy doing or something you're good at?”**

Then ask:

**“How could you use that gift to help someone else this week?”**

Maybe they can use their creativity to make something encouraging for a friend. Maybe they can use their strength to help someone. Maybe they can use their kindness to make someone feel welcome.

Whatever the gift, encourage them to use it!

**God grows His gifts in us as we practice, learn, and trust Him.** ❤️

Have you ever tried to build something all by yourself—and then had someone come help? 😊

Today, we're learning that **God designed us to work together.**

Read **Ecclesiastes 4:9** together.

🏗️ **Today's activity:** Grab some blocks, LEGOs, or plastic cups.

First, have your child build a tower by themselves.

Then take it down and build another tower **together.**

Ask:

**“Was it easier when someone helped?”**

God gives each of us different gifts, and when we combine those gifts, **we can do more together than we could alone.**

Your child might be great at:
🎨 Creating
🧠 Solving problems
💬 Encouraging
🛠️ Building
❤️ Helping
👑 Leading

Every gift has value.

And even if your child's gift seems small, **it matters to God.** ❤️

Let's teach our kids that God's kingdom isn't built by one person doing everything. **We all have something valuable to offer.**

Did you know that **God gave you gifts?** ❤️

Maybe you're really good at building things.
Maybe you love teaching or explaining things.
Maybe you're great at encouraging people.
Maybe you're creative, helpful, organized, or a natural leader.

God gives different gifts to different people—and **no one has every gift.**

But here's the important part:

**Everyone has something special that God can use.** 🙌

Read **1 Corinthians 12:4–5** together today.

When we use our gifts together, amazing things can happen! One person may plan, another may create, and another may help or lead. Together, we can build something good.

🖐️ **Today's activity:** Put a little washable ink on your child's fingertips and make fingerprints on a piece of paper. On each fingerprint, have them write or draw something they're good at.

Then remind them:

**“God grows His gifts in me to build His kingdom.”**

Parents, help your kids discover that their gifts aren't just things they're good at—they're opportunities to **serve others and show God's love.** ❤️

**Jesus welcomes people with love.**

He accepts people.
He offers grace.
He welcomes people instead of pushing them away.

And because **Jesus accepts us, we can learn to accept others.** ❤️

Read **Romans 15:7** together today.

It's easy to include the friends we already know. But Jesus calls us to go further.

Maybe that means:

🎮 Inviting someone new to play
🪑 Sitting with someone who is alone
💬 Speaking kindly to someone who feels left out
🤝 Making room for someone who needs a friend

Those choices may seem small, but they can help someone feel **seen, valued, and loved.**

🙏 **Today's prayer:**

“Dear Jesus, thank You for loving and valuing every person. Help me see people the way You do. Teach me to include others and show kindness to everyone. Help my actions show that every person matters to You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Parents, let's help our children understand that **loving Jesus means learning to love people the way He does.**

**Jesus values everyone. And so should we.** ❤️

👀❤️ **KIDLIFE FAMILY DEVOTIONAL**

Sometimes the hardest thing about waiting is not knowing what is going to happen next.

Maybe you're waiting for an answer.
Maybe you're waiting for a friendship to get better.
Maybe you're waiting for something you've been praying about.

Today's devotional reminds us that **patience means trusting God while we wait.**

Read **Romans 12:12 NIrV** together.

Even when we can't see what God is doing, we can choose joy because we know **God is working.** 🙏

And we can keep praying—even when we have to pray about the same thing again and again.

💭 **Today's reflection:** Ask your child:

**“Is there someone at school or in your neighborhood who might feel unnoticed? What is one way you could show them kindness this week?”**

Then pray together and ask God to help you **see people the way He does.**

Parents, what a beautiful opportunity to teach our kids that following Jesus isn't just about what we see on the outside. It's about learning to notice people, care about them, and love them the way Jesus does. ❤️

**Kindness is for everyone.**

It's usually pretty easy to be kind to our friends. 😊

But Jesus teaches us to show kindness to **everyone**—including people who are different from us and people who might feel left out.

Read **Colossians 3:12** together.

Kindness isn't just about saying nice words. It's choosing words and actions that help people feel **cared for, respected, and valued.** ❤️

**Today's challenge:** Help your child choose ONE person who might need some encouragement.

They could:

💌 Write them a kind note
😊 Give them a genuine compliment
🤝 Invite them to join something they're doing
💬 Simply tell them something encouraging

Then talk about this:

**“How do you think your kindness could change someone's day?”**

A small act of kindness can bring joy to someone who is hurting and remind someone that **they are not alone.**

Let's raise kids who don't just *know* that Jesus loves people—let's raise kids who **show it.** ❤️

**Everyone matters to Jesus.**

Jesus noticed people others ignored. He talked to people others avoided. He made sure people knew they were valuable.

And He wants us to learn to see people the same way He does. 👀❤️

Read **Luke 19:10** together today.

Then talk about people who might sometimes feel left out:

🪑 Someone sitting alone at lunch
🎒 A new student who doesn't know anyone
⚽ Someone who is nervous about joining a game
💭 Someone who may feel unnoticed

**Today's activity:** Have your child write the name or draw a picture of someone they could encourage or include this week.

Then ask:

**“What could you do to help that person know they matter?”**

Parents, let's teach our kids to look beyond themselves and notice the people around them.

A simple invitation.
A kind word.
A place at the table.

**Our actions can show someone that they matter to Jesus.** ❤️

🗺️ **KIDLIFE FAMILY DEVOTIONAL** ❤️

Sometimes life feels confusing.

Things happen that we don't understand. We may wonder, **“Why did this happen?”** or **“What is God doing?”**

But there's something God knows that we don't:

**He sees the whole picture.** 👀

Read **Psalm 37:5** together.

God can use:
😊 Happy moments
😔 Hard moments
💔 Disappointments
💭 Confusing moments
🙈 Even our mistakes

We don't have to understand everything to trust God.

**Trusting God means believing He is working—even when life feels uncertain.**

🙏 **Today's prayer:**

“Dear God, thank You that You can use all things in my life. Help me trust You when things are hard or confusing. Teach me to learn from mistakes and grow stronger in faith. Remind me that You are always working for good. In Jesus' name. Amen.”

Parents, this is one of the greatest gifts we can give our children: teaching them that **they don't have to have all the answers to trust the One who does.** ❤️

**God can use all things.**

💔➡️❤️ **KIDLIFE FAMILY DEVOTIONAL**

**Everybody makes mistakes.**

Maybe we forgot our homework. 📚
Said something unkind. 😔
Made the wrong choice.
Or messed something up and wished we could go back and do it differently.

Sometimes mistakes can make us feel embarrassed or discouraged. We might even think, *“I've ruined everything.”*

But here's the good news:

**God doesn't give up on us when we fail.** ❤️

Read **Proverbs 24:16** together.

The Bible reminds us that even when we fall, we can **get back up.**

God can use our mistakes to help us grow, learn wisdom, and make better choices next time.

💭 **Today's reflection:** Ask your child:

**“Think about a mistake you made recently. What did you learn from it?”**

Parents, our kids need to know that making a mistake doesn't mean they're a failure.

We can teach them to:
🙌 Admit it.
🙏 Ask God for help.
💡 Learn from it.
🚶 Get back up and keep going.

**God can use even our mistakes to help us grow.**
